Tonight on TV

Prime Picks

The Simpsons: In The Girl Who Slept Too Little a graveyard is moved next door to the Simpsons and Lisa has nightmares and doesn’t get much sleep.
The War at Home: Not a great comedy but probably funnier than most of what you will hear if you are watching the Emmy’s.

Family Guy: This gets a prime pick only because it is the only new show on at this hour.
American Dad: This show gets the same reasoning as the previous. At least Family Guy is occasionally funny. I will probably be flipping channels during this hour of TV between these cartoon comedies, the Emmy’s and Iron Chef America on the Food Network.

Wanted: The Summer season comes to a close with the season finale of this hyperkinetic cop show.

Solid Selections

The 57th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards: Hosted by Ellen DeGeneres from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. At least next week there will be actual TV shows to watch.

Other Options

The West Wing: If you are looking for a little drama, maybe last season’s finale of The West Wing is for you. At will at least get you ready for the season premiere next week.

Iron Chef America: It is Iron Chef Cat Cora against challenger Chef Kerry Simon in Battle Hamburger on the Food Network. It is a repeat of this battle but still probably better than the Emmy’s.

Crossing Jordan: Repeat of last season’s finale. That Henry Winkler sure is popping up all over TV these days.
