Tonight on the Tube: Surface, Las Vegas and CSI: Miami

What TV shows will you be watching tonight? Will it be baseball, football or a little drama or comedy? Get the TVaholic picks for the best TV shows on tonight.

Prime Picks

Surface (NBC): I am not sure which of three alien invasion shows I like best but this one has definitely gotten better since the first episode.

Las Vegas (NBC): Ed gets his identity stolen, too bad for that guy.

CSI: Miami (CBS): One case, three CSI and three different suspects. Sounds like fun.

Solid Selections

The King of Queens (CBS): Doug wants to be a sandwich. Hope he likes his better than Larry David.
How I Met Your Mother (CBS): Suit up! Because this might just be the … wait for it … wait for it … best new comedy this season. It is not quite legendary yet but is on its way.

Two and a Half Men (CBS): Charlie has a bit of a down night and his brother has a little fun with it.
Out of Practice (CBS): If you watched Two and a Half Men you might as well stick around and watch this until CSI: Miami comes on.

Medium (NBC): Tonight Allison starts dreaming of one of her good friends from back in high school but can’t seem to figure out how the dream relates the case she is currently involved with.

Other Options

7th Heaven (WB): Barry Watson is back on the show tonight as well as behind the camera as the director.

Related (WB): Repeat of second episode of this show from last week.

In the third hour if nothing above peaks your interest you can always watch the early edition of the late night news.

Cable Choices

American Hot Rod (Discovery Channel): The team builds a car for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Monster Garage (Discovery Channel): The team turns an armored truck into a mobile dunk tank.

Anthony Bourdain (Travel Channel): See what’s cooking in Las Vegas. Which is better than watching Kitchen Confidential, which isn’t on tonight anyway because of baseball.

Notes

With a win tonight the Astros can close out the Cardinals and move on to face the White Sox in the World Series.

Monday Night Football is the Rams squaring off against the Colts in Indianapolis tonight on ABC.
