Saturday’s are so lacking. The last few have at least had a bunch of reruns from earlier in the week. That is not the case tonight.

Prime Picks

The World Series Starts tonight on Fox at 7:30 p.m. ET. It is the Houston Astros first ever trip to the Fall Classic. All I can say is that I am glad that the Yankees or Braves didn’t get here.

Solid Selections

NCIS (CBS): Repeat episode from last season I believe.

Without a Trace (CBS): Repeat episode from last season.

Desperate Housewives (ABC): Repeat episode from last Sunday night.

Other Options

Chicago (NBC): Three commercially interrupted hours of Richard Gere, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Renee Zellweger singing and dancing.

Cable Choices

World Poker Tour (Travel Channel): It is Ladies’ Night 2005. Watch two hours of six female players face off at the final table in Los Angeles.

Treats of the Trade: Candy (Food Network): Get a look inside the largest confections only trade show in North America.

For Veronica Mars fans and those that should be if they like quality television look for a repeat of this week’s episode on UPN over the weekend. Here in the Seattle area it will be on tonight in the first hour of primetime.
