Tonight on the Tube: Cold Case, Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy

No The West Wing, Law & Order: Criminal Intent or Crossing Jordan tonight as Penn & Teller do their thing followed by a SNL retrospective of the show in the 80s.

Prime Picks

Cold Case (CBS): A case from the era of dot-com bubble bursting is reopened tonight.

Desperate Housewives (ABC): This season is not as bad as a lot of people seem to think but not as good as last season either. Although that last scene on last week’s episode was pretty good. This week the basement boy gets out and then is recast for future episodes. Also the show runs 61 minutes long.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): Some friends of the Shepherd’s come to Seattle Grace Hospital to for some radical preventive surgery. Starts a minute into the hour.

Solid Selections

Penn & Teller: Off the Deep End (NBC): Starts and hour before primetime. See them perform some magic and then let you in on the secret.

Saturday Night Live in the ‘80s: Lost and Found (NBC): Get a behind the scenes look at the show during the 1980s.

Other Options

The Simpsons (Fox): Bart Simpson is a Mama’s Boy.
The War at Home (Fox): If you watched The Simpsons you might as well stick around for the rest of the hour.

Category 7: The End of the World (CBS): If you watched the end of the world begin last week, you might want to tune in and see how it ends.

Cable Choices

Emeril Live (Food Network): Emeril cooks up a Thanksgiving meal for some New York Firefighters.

Iron Chef America (Food Network): Bobby Flay is challenged by a chef duo.

Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO): Larry gets himself in trouble and we all laugh at him.
Extras (HBO): Andy comes across some information about his friend Mandy.

Note

Sunday Night Football on ESPN is the Cleveland Browns at the Pittsburgh Steelers.
