Tonight on the Tube: More TV show Marathons, Close to Home and NUMB3RS

Are you still full from yesterday? Happy Day After ThanksgiVing. So you’ve been shopping or recreating in some way today hopefully. How about some picks and such for what is on TV tonight and once again we must remember that it is Friday and there is not much to work with on the networks. Since it is a holiday though many cable channels are once again running some TV show marathons.

Prime Picks

Ghost Whisperer (CBS): Beware the ghost bride.

Close to Home (CBS): Members of a gang try to scare Annabeth of a case by using her daughter.

NUMB3RS (CBS): The team uses math and other means to track down someone who is tampering with products being sold.

Solid Selections

The Family Man (NBC): A guy who has taken a wrong turn and become very successful in the stock market but not in life in general or in love wakes to find himself married to his college sweetheart that he had left to pursue his career 13 years ago. Now he is married to her and they have children. This was a pretty good movie although watching it over three hours with commercial interruptions it might not be as fun.

Other Options

What I Like About You (WB): Repeat of last weeks Thanksgiving episode.
Reba (WB): This is a repeat of what is actually the funniest episode of this show so far this season.

Hope & Faith (ABC): Only getting picked here because it is new and nothing else is in this time slot.
Hot Properties (ABC): Can’t believe this show is actually still on. But since it is new and nothing else is it gets the nod.

20/20 (ABC): ABC investigates and tells you what they have found.

Cable Choices

Emeril Live (Food Network): Kick off you holiday party planning with this repeat about Christmas parties.

$40-a-Day (Food Network): Vancouver, Canada
$40-a-Day (Food Network): Vermont

$40-a-Day (Food Network): Aspen
$40-a-Day (Food Network): Telluride, Colorado

Sports Notes

In NBA Basketball action tonight we have the Dallas Mavericks at the Miami Heat followed by the New Jersey Nets at the Phoenix Suns on ESPN.
You will find College Football games on ABC, CBS, Fox Sports Net and ESPN2 throughout the day.
