Tonight on the Tube: Christmas Day TV Show Marathons

You will find many TV show marathons on today all over cable today. Find out what they are below. Do you see anything there that you just have to see? A Betty White Christmas on the Game Show Network is probably the most creative. Given the selection of many repeats on the networks all your favorite TV shows on DVD that you got today will probably make for a better viewing option. The Simpsons (FOX): Repeat of Bonfire of the Manatees with guest voice Alec Baldwin.
The Simpsons (FOX): Repeat of Marge’s Son Poisoning. This was a very funny episode.

Finding John Christmas (CBS): Christmas movie starring Valerie Bertinelli as a nurse searching for her long lost brother. Runs two hours.

Solid Selections

Cold Case (CBS): Repeat of an episode where Lily reopens a case about a young woman who was killed in her lover’s apartment when the victim’s brother brings in new evidence giving the team new direction.

Desperate Housewives (ABC): Repeat of the episode with Bree’s mother in law still visiting after the death of Rex. Runs 61 minutes

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): Alex learns that the injuries suffered in an auto accident are not this family’s only problems in this repeat.

The West Wing (NBC): Repeat of The Ticket.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC): Repeat from earlier this season where Det. Logan gets his first case at Major Case with his new partner.

Crossing Jordan (NBC): Jordan, Woody and Garret scramble to keep a convicted murderer behind bars in this repeat airing.

Cable Choices

Home Alone (TBS): The first and best of this series of movies where an 8 year old makes do on his own when his family leaves him home alone. He deals with two inept burglars, which is the best part of the movie. Runs two hours.

The Soup (E!): It is Clipdown ’05 where the best moments from the show are shown.

Sports Notes

NFL Football will be played in the afternoon on Fox and Sunday Night Football on ESPN will be the Vikings at the Ravens.

NBA Basketball will be played today on ABC. First the San Antonio Spurs against the Detroit Pistons followed by the Los Angeles Lakers at the Miami Heat.

History Channel – Jesus of Nazareth, the story of Jesus from birth through death.
TLC – Find 10 episodes of Tuckerville during the day followed by episodes of Moving Up into the night.
CNN – Will be showing Larry King Live interviews most of the day.
Court TV – There will be 13 episodes of Masterminds follow by Cops the rest of the night.
Oxygen – Figure Skating – 2005 Desjardins World Team Challenge is repeated all day.
FX – Daddy Day Care will play multiple times during the day.
TNT – Law & Order will play all day.
TBS – Plays A Christmas Story multiple times for most of the day.
Spike TV – Will be playing 13 episodes of The Three Stooges followed by four 007 James Bond movies.
Sci Fi Channel – You will find a day full of snake themed movies.
VH1 – Breaking Bonaduce in the early early morning. The 100 Greatest One Hit Wonders are counted down in the middle of the day and The 100 Greatest Kid Stars are counted down in the evening.
