Tonight on the Tube: Repeats, TV Show Marathons and New Year’s Eve Specials

It is the last day of the year. As usual there is not much on the networks worth watching. Just repeats and movies but today is a day of TV Show Marathons to keep you glued to your tube. See below for some ideas of what is on. The best marathon is definitely on the Sci Fi Channel. They will be running The Twilight Zone episodes starting today and will continue through Tuesday morning. Now that is a TV Show Marathon.

Bones (FOX): Repeat of Boy in a Tree.

House (FOX): Repeat where Cuddy’s handyman falls off her roof and she joins the team to try and figure out what is wrong with him. This was a really fun episode.

Sports Notes

NFL Football on CBS with the Broncos playing the Chargers. On ESPN they have the Giants at the Raiders tonight.

College Football Bowl games will be found on ESPN and ESPN2. First on ESPN2 this morning your will find the Meineke Car Care Bowl with North Carolina State against South Florida from Charlotte, NC. Following that will be the EV1.Net Houston Bowl with Iowa State versus Texas Christian from Houston, TX. On ESPN you will find the Autozone Liberty Bowl with Fresno State facing off against Tulsa from Memphis, TN.

ESPN and ESPN2 will be playing a special look back at the year in sports tonight. Fox News Channel has a look at the news stories of the past year. Disney has a Totally Suite New Year’s Eve to close out the night. Also BET and MTV both have shows to close out the year. On the Networks you will find Regis on Fox, Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest on ABC and Carson Daly on NBC.
