The Boss’s tunes on Cold Case and a clip show to get you caught up for the return of new episodes of Grey’s Anatomy next week. Once again the DVR will be doing a little work tonight. What will you be watching tonight? Leave your thoughts in the comments.

Prime Picks

The West Wing (NBC): This episode looks like it feature Leo, played by John Spencer who recently passed away, as he prepares for the VP candidates debate.

Desperate Housewives (ABC): Gabrielle kisses Tom, Mike tries to get to know Zach, Paul feels threatened by this and the Applewhite’s start to look suspicious to the rest of Wisteria Lane. Sounds like just another day in the neighborhood. Shows runs 61 minutes.

Crossing Jordan (NBC): That big elephant in the room when ever Woody and Jordan are together rears its head as they are snowed in and trapped in a bed and breakfast where they are investigating a murder of a guest.

Solid Selections

Cold Case (CBS): Songs of Bruce Springsteen are used in the telling of the story of 4 high school friends as the murder of one of them is investigated. If you miss the canceled Reunion maybe you can get your fix with this story. At least it will have a conclusion.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC): Detectives Logan and Barek investigate a woman played by Elizabeth Berkley and her sister as they seem to be blackmailing men with phony paternity claims.

Grey’s Anatomy (CBS): A clip show to get you caught up on what has gone on so far this season. Like you don’t already know. If you don’t here is your chance. If you do here is your chance to relive some of the great scenes this show has offered up in the first part of this season.

Other Options

The Simpsons (FOX): Homer’s dad might not be his dad.
The War at Home (FOX): Vicky becomes more ambitious at work leaving Dave less than thrilled about what is happening at home.

CSI: NY (CBS): Repeat where a baseball fan is found dead in a parking lot and guest star Michael Clarke Duncan plays and inmate who confront Mac about the evidence against him. This was a very good episode.

CSI: Miami (CBS): Repeat where someone is killed at a high school reunion and the team investigates. Another show story told around a reunion. Too bad CBS couldn’t have found a third show with this type of theme, then the whole night would have been reunion centric.

Cable Choices

Emeril Live (Food Network): Emeril cooks up some New York inspired dishes.

Inside the Actors Studio (Bravo): Queen Latifah is interviewed. If you missed her on the Food Network last night promoting her new movie you can see her here.

The Shield (FX): Repeat of the episode Cut Throat. Two more episodes play after.

Sports Notes

The NFC Wild Card game is the early game on Fox with the New York Giants taking on the Carolina Panthers. The AFC Wild Card game is the late game on CBS with the Cincinnati Bengals facing off against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
