in Tonight on the Tube

ScrubsThe second episode of Love Monkey is tonight. This show instantly jumped onto my list of can’t miss shows. Hopefully the sophomore effort doesn’t fall off much from the first. Scrubs continues the one two punch of comedy goofiness in the second hour of primetime. The replay of the first season of The Closer on TNT continues tonight as well. What will you be watching tonight? Get some ideas below.

Prime Picks

NCIS (CBS): The team thinks two murders are racially motivated when two Marines wives are found dead.

Commander In Chief (ABC): A man threatens to blow up Air Force One unless he can talk to the President while he is holding the plane hostage.

Love Monkey (CBS): Tom is just starting to get used to his new job at True Vinyl Records as the benefit concert they have been planning starts to unravel. The first episode of this show was great.

Solid Selections

According to Jim (ABC): Jim and Cheryl fight during the ceremony to renew their vows.
Rodney (ABC): Rodney’s father refuses to help pay for an aunt’s funeral.

Scrubs (NBC): J.D. ends up having to work on his day off, Turk looks for a heart for a patient while Carla starts to fear she won’t be a good mother.
Scrubs (NBC): Dr. Kelso looks into the unexplained death of a patient by interrogating the staff.

Boston Legal (ABC): Alan has to bail out Catherine Piper who is played by Betty White after she starts robbing convenience stores.

Other Options

American Idol (FOX): Two hours of the 3rd set of auditions.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): Repeat where a 9 year old girl calls 911 for help but the police are not sure if she is playing a prank or telling the truth.

Cable Choices

Overhaulin’ (TLC): Overlord is the title of the episode.

Dirty Jobs (Discovery Channel): The host performs jobs at a sugar mill and an alligator farm.

The Shield (FX): The team figures out what they will do next regarding the Internal Affairs investigation. Tina goes undercover and Claudette reopens a case. Episode runs 64 minutes and replays again right after.
