It is Super Bowl Sunday so most everything else is going to be repeats today. If you are not a football fan check out the TV show marathons a few of the cable channels are running today as counter programming listed below. Who do you think is going to win the Super Bowl today? That windstorm that came through the Seattle area knocked out power here and many other places. It just came back on here about an hour ago. Hopefully for others it does also. Unfortunately I missed the Steve Martin hosted Saturday Night Live last night because of it. Was it any good?
Prime Picks
Super Bowl XL (ABC): The broadcast starts at 6:00 p.m. ET and will feature my hometown Seattle Seahawks against the Pittsburgh Steelers in case somehow you didn’t know that already. Go Hawks!!!
Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): Getting the coveted after the Super Bowl timeslot this year. Many times a network will try and launch a new show after the game hoping to give it a large kickoff but this year it is the already pretty successful Grey’s Anatomy.
Solid Selections
Criminal Minds (CBS): This was a good episode of this show. In this repeat the BAU team thinks that a serial killer is behind the disappearance of an undercover police officer.
Cold Case (CBS): Repeat where the case of a murdered boy is reopened after his mother finds a letter that suggests that it was not a random act.
Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC): Goren believes that a paranoid computer geek is the key to solving a murder case in this really good repeat episode.
Other Options
Crossing Jordan (NBC): Jordan is appalled at the medical facilities at a prison when she has to go investigate a death there in this repeat.
Crossing Jordan (NBC): Repeat where Jordan investigates a cult leader in the death of his wife.
CSI: Miami (CBS): Horatio tries to beat the clock and show that a young man is not guilty of a crime before he ends up a victim of the system in this repeat.
Cable Choices
Emeril Live (Food Network): Emeril has Paula Dean over for some home cookin’ in this repeat.
Iron Chef America (Food Network): Iron Chef Bobby Flay takes on challenger Chef Michelle Bernstein in this repeat episode.
The Shield (FX): Repeat of Tapa Boca from earlier this week. Runs 65 minutes.
