Grey’s Anatomy – Season 1
The first season of this show only had nine episodes, as it was a midseason replacement. It replaced Boston Legal on Sunday night and has become a must see show. The writing is outstanding and the characters are really well portrayed by a great cast. While a little far fetched in some of the medical cases they are involved in that is not the point of the show. That is just the background in which these fabulous characters interact. The character interaction is the reason to watch this show. If you want to see how it all began or just can’t wait to relive your favorite scenes, here is your chance. The boxed set includes all nine episodes on two discs. Special features include commentary on the pilot by series creator Shonda Rhimes and director Peter Horton, deleted scenes, a behind the scenes look and cast and crew audio commentaries.
The Pretender – The Complete Third Season
This show was fun and left the airwaves to soon. It could have gone longer. The show revolved around Jarod the super smart guy that had been locked away to help a secret group. Once escaped he uses his intellect and pretending ability to become anyone he needs to be. He is on the run and ends up helping people along the way. His lack of outside knowledge of what it is like to live in the world is some of what makes this show so fun to watch. Jarod is like a young child coming across things and trying things that he was never been able to try before even though he is a grown man. The set includes 21 episodes on four discs.
