Tonight on the Tube: Smallville, Repeats and Winter Games

Legally BlondeABC repeats the second half of the two-part Grey’s Anatomy that began after the Superbowl. CBS has a new Survivor followed by repeats. NBC continues with coverage of the Winter Olympics. FOX is showing Legally Blonde. And the soon to be combined networks WB and UPN have all new offerings tonight including Everybody Hates Chris. What will you be watching?

Prime Picks

Smallville (WB): A half human and half machine from LutherCorp is let free by a sympathetic doctor.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS): When a dead infant’s mother is found not to be a biological relative the team investigates the death in this repeat.

Without a Trace (CBS): The team searches for a 25-year-old woman who has gone missing in this repeat.

Solid Selections

Dancing With the Stars (ABC): Who will not perform well this week? Runs 90 minutes.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): Starts after Dancing With the Stars. This is the conclusion to the two-part episode that began after the Superbowl, which was played in this time period last week. So if you caught that one see how it concludes. Runs 60 minutes.

Primetime (ABC): ABC investigative reports. Runs 30 minutes.

Other Options

XX Olympic Winter Games (NBC): Men’s figure skating, snowboarding and speed skating finals and Women’s skeleton finals. Four hours of coverage.

Cable Choices

50 Best Chick Flicks: Sex, Cries and Videotape (E!): For no other reason than I like the funny and clever title of the show given the subject matter. They say that they are profiling the 50 best movies that women love and men tolerate. Runs two hours.

Iron Chef America (Food Network): Iron Chef Mario Batali against challenger Chef Todd English in this repeat showing of with what I believe was pizza dough as the secret ingredient. Most of the rest of the Food Network primetime lineup seems to revolve around pizza tonight. Yum.

Sports Notes

TNT has two NBA games tonight with the Philadelphia 76ers playing the Chicago Bulls in the early match up followed by the Houston Rockets at the Phoenix Suns in the late game.
