Last night on American Idol Simon was right there were four really great performances. I had Midnight Train to Georgia floating around in my head the rest of the night. That little Paris has great stage presence at such a young age. She came right out and grabbed the audience and kept them right through to the end. Tonight the guys show what they can do. Can’t wait to see what the ratings were for Idol with the ladies figure skating going on over on NBC. Should be interesting. I think that Idol probably out drew even the most watched and favorite event of the Winter Games. What do you think?
Prime Picks
American Idol (FOX): Tonight is the guys take center stage as the 12 perform and give the audience their first chance at voting. Runs two hours.
CSI: NY (CBX): Repeat where the owner of a doll hospital is killed and the team investigates. Pretty good yet kind of creepy episode with all those doll heads looking at you.
Solid Selections
XX Olympic Winter Games (NBC): The women’s slalom, freestyle aerials and 1500m speed skating finals also the men’s parallel giant slalom.
Other Options
George Lopez (ABC): George tries to teach his niece about hard work by getting her a job at the factory.
Still Standing (CBS): Judy attempt to get to a taping of Oprah but she reluctantly has to take her mother-in-law and things don’t go well.
Lost (ABC): Repeat of the two-hour pilot episode. If you haven’t seen how it all began here is your chance.
Cable Choices
Emeril Live (Food Network): Emeril gives a salute to dairy farmers.
Happy Gilmore (USA): This is one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies, probably because it revolves around golf. Runs two and a half hours.
