Tonight on the Tube: Dateline, Repeats and Movies

A Beautiful Mind: Original Motion Picture ScoreSaturday night. What a TV wasteland until Saturday Night Live comes on and that hasn’t really been that good. Hopefully the time off has done them some good and they come back refreshed and funny. We shall see. What will you be watching tonight?

Prime Picks

Dateline NBC (NBC): The investigation of a case of a former aerospace worker who was found dead near her million dollar home leads the investigators to think it was the husband.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): Repeat where the accused killer is killed by the victim’s son.

Conviction (NBC): Repeat of the pilot episode of this show from last night. If you missed it you might want to check it out, as it is not great but pretty good.

Solid Selections

A Beautiful Mind (ABC): The story of a math prodigy John Forbes Nash Jr. played by Russell Crowe who suffered from paranoid schizophrenia but was a Nobel laureate late in his life. This is quite a good movie. Runs three hours.

Other Options

48 Hour Mystery (CBS): The story of a young woman and how her night of gambling ended badly with her disappearance.

Cable Choices

The Italian Job (FX): Mark Wahlberg and Charlize Theron star in this fun heist flick. After being double-crossed the crew plans on stealing back what was taken from them.
