If you missed The Unit when it premiered earlier this week, you missed a pretty good show. The reviews that I have read have been mixed. You can read my review or others or you could just tune in tonight and judge for yourself. Heist returns with a new episode tonight on AMC after a week off last week. The Unit (CBS): Repeat of the series premiere from Tuesday. I thought it was pretty good with a couple of minor quibbles. Others were not so kind, yet a lot of people watched it. If you weren’t one of them, then check it out for yourself.
Cold Case (CBS): Repeat where an old 1930’s truck is pulled from the river with remains inside that may be that of a woman who went missing in 1932.
Conviction (NBC): Repeat of last night’s episode where a 14 year old is prosecuted as an adult after killing his brother with a baseball bat.

What Lies Beneath (ABC): Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfieffer in this thriller about supernatural events that plague a college professor and his wife. Runs three hours.

Dateline NBC (NBC): NBC News investigative reports.
America’s Most Wanted: America Fights Back (FOX): Police look for an Atlanta child killer.
48 Hours Mystery (CBS): Repeat about a bookie’s wife who was murdered.
Cable Choices
Shanghai Noon (TBS): Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson laugh it up in the old west. Runs two hours.
Heist (AMC): Danny brings in a new member who tries to con the team. Runs 75 minutes.
Sports Notes
CBS has college conference tournament hoops action starting with the Conference USA final followed by the Big Ten first semi-final followed by the Big Ten second semi-final followed by the Pac-10 final. NBC has PGA Golf with third round coverage of the Honda Classic from the Country Club at Mirasol in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. ESPN and ESPN2 have college basketball conference tournaments all day long.
Late Night
NBC has a new Saturday Night Live tonight with host Matt Dillon and musical guest Arctic Monkeys. MADtv on FOX is a repeat with guest WWE wrestler John Cena.
