I was not around when these first aired but like most great TV shows they get replayed and new viewers can find and enjoy them. I Dream of Jeannie - The Complete First Season (Black & White)This was the show that was on in syndication and I watched after school. The show had that great hectic comedy. Where Jeannie would do something to try and help her master, Captain Nelson, but it usually went wrong in some way. He and his friend Major Healy had to run around and try and cover from their boss, Dr. Bellows, all the wackiness that was going on. This DVD set has 30 episodes on 4 discs and has audio commentary on the first episode and interviews with Larry Hagman, Barbara Eden and Bill Daily and the show’s creator Sydney Sheldon. The first season was shot in black and white and is available that way or colorized.

She Spies - The Complete First SeasonShe Spies – The Complete First Season
This syndicated show was fun. It was like a low budget Alias with three beautiful agents instead of one. Except these women were all former thieves or hackers and such and were offered get out of jail cards if they put their skills to work for a secret government agency. Later seasons tried to become a little more serious. In the first season it was more about being campy and different. With little pop up bubbles with weird tidbits of information and a wacky sense of humor these ladies kicked butt through each episode and got the job done and looked good doing it. The set includes 20 episodes on four discs.
