Everyday Italian: 125 Simple and Delicious Recipes by Giada De LaurentiisWell the combined final twelve performed last night on American Idol and things didn’t start off that well but they sure picked up in the second half of the show. Tonight Bones moves to an earlier timeslot from the last couple weeks. Veronica Mars is new tonight and nothing else much is in the second hour of primetime. Survivor is on tonight because of the NCAA Tournament games that start tomorrow on CBS. What will you be watching tonight?

Prime Picks

Bones (FOX): New timeslot tonight where we see Brennan attempt online dating and when she goes to meet at a restaurant someone takes a shot at her.

Veronica Mars (UPN): A blackmailer hacks a private bulletin board and then threatens to out everyone unless they pay $5000 each. The group goes to Veronica for help in finding out who it is. Wow how long has it been since there was a new episode? Too long is the answer.

Invasion (ABC): Mariel is forced by Cristina to do an ultrasound of her womb to see what is growing inside her.

Solid Selections

George Lopez (ABC): Ernie needs to lose weight and George sets out to help him.
Freddie (ABC): Chris’ latest girlfriend dumps him when she learns of how many women he has been with. Freddie starts to worry that his girlfriend is going to want to know the same thing.

American Idol (FOX): Find out whom America didn’t think made the cut last night. Little Kevin, I like you but you have to go.
The Loop (FOX): Series premiere of this show tonight. Hopefully it is better than Free Ride, which is terrible.

CSI: NY (CBS): Repeat. Roller Derby. Murder.

Other Options

Survivor: Panama – Exile Island (CBS): On tonight instead of Thursday because the NCAA Tournament starts tomorrow.

Criminal Minds (CBS): Repeat where the team searches for clues in hopes of finding a missing girl.

Law & Order (NBC): Repeat where the detectives learn that a murdered prostitute was actually an undercover reporter looking into a brutal gang.

Cable Choices

Chefography (Food Network): The Food Network continues with their chef profiles tonight with Giada De Laurentiis. See how she turned her passion for cooking into a career.

MythBusters (Discovery Channel): Helium and an inflatable boat. Sounds like fun.

Good Eats (Food Network): Alton cooks up some Thai food.
Ham on the Street (Food Network): Leftovers get new life.

Sports Notes

ESPN and ESPN2 both have NIT first round college basketball games followed by some NBA action on ESPN with the Los Angeles Clippers taking on the Phoenix Suns. ESPN earlier in the day has a MLB preseason game with the New York Yankees playing the Houston Astros. ESPN2 has more Pacific Life Open tennis coverage early in the day.
