American Idol: Your Season Five Final Four

For a change I actually picked this week’s bottom two on American Idol. It was Paris and Elliott with Paris getting the “Kiss” goodbye and finding that the show is going to “Be Without You.”

As four the final four on Season Five I was half right. I thought Chris and Taylor would still be around. The two I missed on were Paris who came close and Mandisa who was voted off way too early in the competition.

With the final four set this is how TVaholic ranks their chances to become the Season Five American Idol:

  1. Chris Daughtry – Remains #1 here but the next two have really closed the gap. As long as his voice doesn’t give out he has the best shot of winning.
  2. Katharine McPhee – Holds at a still extremely close #2. Can’t have any more stumbles like she did on the first song this week.
  3. Taylor Hicks – Up one spot. Really showed why he is still around with his second song this week.
  4. Elliott Yamin – Falls down one spot with his landing in the bottom two this week. Any type of stumble next week and he will be the next to go. Needs a week like last week to stay in it.

That is how TVaholic sees it. How do you see it? Who do you think has the best chance of becoming the American Idol this season? Let us know in the comments.

Next week on American Idol each contestant will be singing the music of Elvis Presley with help from producer Tommy Mottola.
