Plenty of good repeats on network TV for your viewing pleasure. Yet cable is the place to be for summer TV watching. See new episodes of The 4400 and The Dead Zone on USA. On HBO you will find new showings of Deadwood and Entourage tonight. I usually just wait until midnight and the latest episodes are available onDemand and I can watch them whenever. This is quite handy as I don’t have to TiVo anything and I can watch all the good stuff that is on tonight. What will you be watching on TV tonight?

Cold Case (CBS): Repeat. The team reopens the case of a Vietnam prisoner of war’s death after his POW tags are found in an old house.

Desperate Housewives (ABC): Repeat. Susan tries to help Mike look for Zach and ends up sending him to Utah. Lynette learns of Parker’s new invisible friend.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): Repeat. It is Thanksgiving and each of the interns is having trouble dealing with it. The best part of the episode is getting to meet George’s father and brothers.

Solid Selections

The Simpsons (FOX): Repeat. Great episode dealing with gender differences and teaching has Lisa has to sneak into the boys’ side of the school when a new principal divides the school.
American Dad (FOX): Repeat. Actually I would just watch The Simpsons and then flip channels for a half hour.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC): Repeat. A bridesmaid is found dead in her hotel room and the detectives have three suspects. This was a really creepy episode.

Crossing Jordan (NBC): Repeat. Pollack writes a damning story and puts himself, Jordan and Woody in the middle of a corporate scandal and cover-up.

Cable Choices

Emeril Live (Food Network): New. Emeril cooks up some New Orleans specials with Winton Marsalis as the musical guest.

The 4400 (USA): New. Someone attacks Sea and Isabel retaliates. This episode plays again after House.

The Dead Zone (USA): New. Johnny takes a look at what looks to be a hate crime. This episode plays again later.

Other Options

• Best Man, Worst Friend (ABC Family): Released 2005. This made for TV movie has the best man falling for a woman who he finds out is the bride of his philandering friend. Runs two hours and plays twice tonight.
• Blade: The Series (Spike): Repeats. The two-hour pilot and the first regular episode air tonight if like me you missed them the first time.
• Brotherhood (Showtime): Series Premiere. This is a new show focusing on and Irish-American family with one brother who has gone into politics and the other a life of crime.
• Deadwood (HBO): New. Alma is back to her old ways and has a little trouble with the bank. The livery changes hands and Swearengen figures out what to do with Farnum.
• Entourage (HBO): New. Vince and Eric try to figure out how to work the scheduling of the Aquaman sequel and the movie Medellin that they really want to do.
• Iron Chef America (Food Network): New. Chef Morou challenges Iron Chef Bobby Flay.
• It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX): Repeat. The two episodes from last week replay.

Sports Notes

• ABC starts the morning off with a little Western Open golf tournament coverage and then has the 2006 FIFA World Cup final followed by more of the Western Open.
• CBS has the final rounds of the Women’s World Match Play Championship golf tournament.
• ESPN has Sunday Night Baseball with the St. Louis Cardinals playing the Houston Astros.
• ESPN2 has the Future Stars Game or if you prefer the Minor League All Star Game.
• NBC has the men’s final of Wimbledon followed by the final round of the U.S. Senior Open golf tournament.
