Tonight on the Tube: The Office, Windfall and Iron Chef America

The Office - Season TwoThe TV landscape is a bit sparse this Thursday night. Your best bet may just be the third webisode of The Office: The Accountants. Each one so far has been good for at least one good awkward moment and funny line. Have you watched any of them yet?

Prime Picks

My Name Is Earl (NBC): Repeat. Pretty good episode with the gang trying to win a car for Joy so Earl can make up for all the suck gifts he has given her in the past.
The Office (NBC): Repeat. Great episode where Michael shows up to find a really bad and smelly stain on the carpet in his office. Don’t forget that each Thursday a new webisode is available. Today is Webisode 3 where the accountants interview Meredith about the $3000.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): Repeat. A former Seattle Grace nurse who is now a patient has an affect on Cristina.

Windfall (NBC): New. Peter goes to Belgium on business. Tally and Sean find out more information about Zoe. I haven’t watched the last couple of episodes. Has the show gotten any better? I have them TiVo’d but should I take the time to watch them? Is it worth catching up?

Solid Selections

Smallville (WB): Repeat. A good episode that foreshadows what Clark will be doing in the futures as he meets a woman with a secret identity and superpowers that works for The Daily Planet and fights crime at night.

America’s Got Talent (NBC): New. The results are given.

Without a Trace (CBS): Repeat. Good episode where the team tries to track down a loner kid who they need to figure out if he is just a messed up kid or a school bomber.

Cable Choices

Emeril Live (Food Network): Repeat. Emeril goes all deli on us.

Iron Chef America (Food Network): Repeat. Iron Chef Cat Cora takes on the President’s Chef Walter Schieb.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX): New. The gang gets community service.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX): Repeat. Charlie finds out he has a kid.

Other Options

  • American Eats (Travel Channel): New. Ever wanted to know the history of soda pop? Well tonight is your chance.
  • Road Tasted (Food Network): Repeat. The Deen boys travel around looking for hand made food. That grape pie sure looked good.
  • Thowdown with Bobby Flay (Food Network): New. Bobby Flay competes against cooks from around the country.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN has Thursday Night Baseball with the New York Yankees at the Toronto Blue Jays. They also have the Chicago White Sox at the Detroit Tigers early in the day.
