Helping You Find the Prime in Primetime
It is Monday and cable is the place to be for your TV viewing pleasure tonight. StarTomorrow may be interesting but how many music competitions can there be before people get tired of them. With The One on ABC cancelled after just two weeks I would have to say not too many more. So, this one better have something special. It sounds like American Idol for undiscovered bands with some Internet voting thrown in. Will you be playing record producer and voting for your favorites? Or, will this just be another lame summer show that most people avoid?
The King of Queens (CBS): Repeat. This was a really funny episode centering on a hideous oil painting of Doug and Carrie given to them for their anniversary by Deacon and Kelly.
How I Met Your Mother (CBS): Repeat. In this fun episode Marshall has taken the internship at Barney’s office but has changed his personality to fit in with those who work there.
Two and a Half Men (CBS): Repeat. Alan ends up paying for his girlfriend’s bills and has a bit of a cash crunch of his own.
How I Met Your Mother (CBS): Repeat. Turns out nothing good does happen after 2:00 a.m.
CSI: Miami (CBS): Repeat. Delko gets busted for buying weed and Horatio must fight to keep him on board once the reason is found out.
StarTomorrow (NBC): New. Scour the Internet for singers and bands that have yet to be discovered. Narrow them down to the top 100. Post the music on NBC.com for everyone to vote on. Then have the winners compete against each other for a recording deal. Tonight you can see how it all is going to work with a casting special.
Treasure Hunters (NBC): New. Only five teams left.
Medium (NBC): Repeat. A psycho doctor’s spirit haunts Allison’s daughter.
Kyle XY (ABC Family): New. Kyle may be starting to remember and some info on Declan’s family is found out.
The Closer (TNT): New. Bodies are found in the bay and it appears to be a ritual suicide but Brenda feels that there is more to it.
Saved (TNT): New. Oooh! “Secrets and Lies.â€
