Tonight on the Tube: Prison Break Replay, MythBusters and Blade

ScrubsTonight you can get a second look at the Monday’s episode of Prison Break or a first look if you missed it. Also catch a replay of part four of Feasting on Asphalt with Alton Brown. The MythBusters try out some more Hollywood Movie heist scenarios. Blade continues to slice his way through the end of the summer TV season. Bones (FOX): Repeat. In this episode Brennan comes to find out that the remains she is trying to identify is her mother who went missing years ago.

Prison Break (FOX): Repeat. The second season premiere episode “Manhunt” replays tonight. Read Review.

CSI: NY (CBS): Repeat. A plastic surgeon is found dead and to have lots of possible enemies. Mac and Hawkes investigate.

Blue Collar TV (WB): Repeat. The guy’s give you the blue collar take on “Money.”
Blue Collar TV (WB): Repeat. A look at “Sinning” through the blue-collar prism provides the laughs.

Scrubs (NBC): Repeat. This was the best episode from last season as J.D. tries to find his way home. Might even rank in my top ten all time Scrubs episodes.
Scrubs (NBC): Repeat. Tom Cavanagh (Ed, Love Monkey) guest stars once again as J.D.’s slacker of a brother.

Law & Order (NBC): Repeat. Fontana goes all Cold Case after a criminal makes a deathbed confession and takes another look at the murder of a 12 year old girl from tens year ago.

Cable Choices

Emeril Live (Food Network): Repeat. Watch as Emeril reopens one of his restaurants in New Orleans.

MythBusters (Discovery Channel): New. The guys test out some more Hollywood heist ideas. Sounds like fun.

Blade: The Series (Spike): New. Krista becomes un-useful to Marcus and Blade. Plays twice.

  • Feasting on Asphalt (Food Network): Repeat. Part four of the four part series replays tonight which has Alton making it to California a bit worse for wear but still looking for some good road eats.
  • Hustle (AMC): Repeat. The gang runs another long con. Episode runs 75 minutes.
  • Professional Poker Tour (Travel Channel): New. Watch more action from the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles. Runs two hours.
  • World’s Funniest Commercials (TBS): New. Kevin Nealon (Weeds, Saturday Night Live) hosts.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN has Little Leagues World Series play.
  • ESPN2 has Wednesday Night Baseball with the Chicago White Sox at the Detroit Tigers followed by FIBA World Championship Basketball with the United States taking on Italy.
