The Office - Season TwoJust a few more days and the new season will really get underway next Monday. For a look at what will be in store take a look at the Ultimate Guide to the Fall 2006 TV Schedule. Tonight’s only premiere is the long in the tooth Survivor. Will you be watching? Does organizing the tribes by race get you more or less interested in the show? Leave your thoughts in the comments.

Prime Picks

My Name Is Earl (NBC): Repeat. See how it all began with a replay of the “Pilot” episode. Runs 40 minutes.
My Name Is Earl (NBC): Repeat. See how it all ended last season with a replay of the season finale episode, “Number One.” Runs 40 minutes. Season two starts next week.
The Office (NBC): Repeat. The second season finale episode, “Casino Night,” replays tonight to get you ready for the third season premiere next Thursday. Runs 40 minutes.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS): Repeat. The sixth season finale episode, “Way To Go,” replays tonight and the seventh season gets underway next Thursday night.

Solid Selections

‘Til Death (FOX): New. The first episode of this show last week was pretty terrible but since it is new and I don’t really care for Survivor, no matter how they align the tribes, I will give this a second shot.
Happy Hour (FOX): New. Last week’s premiere of this wasn’t much better than ‘Til Death. Both shows have a descent premise they just haven’t been executed very well.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): Repeat. Another episode plays right before. Next week on Wednesday will be a rebroadcast of last season’s finale to get you ready for the third season premiere on the 21st of Sept. There will also be a special this Sunday night and a season two recap will air on Thursday before the premiere. The premiere will replay Friday night before Men in Trees.

ER (NBC): Repeat. The 12th season finale, “Twenty-One Guns,” replays tonight. The 13th season begins next week.

Cable Choices

Emeril Live (Food Network): Repeat. Emeril kicks up some dishes with pork fat.

Iron Chef America (Food Network): Repeat. Iron Chef Morimoto versus Chef Yeo in battle tofu.

Throwdown with Bobby Flay (Food Network): New. A jambalaya duel is waged.
Ace of Cakes (Food Network): New. Duff makes a cake for his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Other Options

  • American Eats (History Channel): New. Get a look at the history of breakfast cereals.
  • The Underground (Showtime): Series Premiere. Daman Wayans goes back to his sketch comedy days but he leaves behind any thoughts of network censors as he is on pay cable now.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN has PGA Golf and college football with Maryland at West Virginia.
  • ESPN2 has Thursday Night Baseball with the Philadelphia Phillies at the Atlanta Braves.
  • TBS also has the Philadelphia Phillies at the Atlanta Braves.
