New TV on DVD: The Unit, My Name Is Earl and More

The Gilmore Girls were having a Hart to Hart with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe about The King of Queens saying My Name Is Earl and then sending the Ghost Hunters to scare the Footballers’ Wives on the corner of 8th & Ocean with a big Roar. They also wanted to have The Chris Rock Show that Everybody Loves Raymond even though he borrowed The Unit from Battlestar Galactica without telling Avatar The Last Airbender.

The Unit - The Complete First SeasonThe Unit – The Complete First Season
This is a very good show about an elite special forces team that is sent just about anywhere to keep the United States safe from those who would seek to harm us. Dennis Haysbert (24) plays the team leader who has to break in a new member in the first season. The show doesn’t just focus on the missions it also shows the difficulties for their families and their home life given the stresses of the job of being a covert operative. The second season of the show actually premieres tonight. This TV on DVD set includes all 13 first season episodes on four discs. Special features include deleted scenes, commentary by writers and producers and a featurette about The Unit.
