The NBC show Heroes replays the second episode, “Don’t Look Back,†tonight on Sci Fi Channel before a new Doctor Who and the season premiere of Battlestar Galactica. Close to Home (CBS): New. Annabeth prosecutes a man for attempting to murder a young neighbor when she learns there is more to the story.
Law & Order (NBC): New. The detectives believe faulty wiring was the cause of an explosion that killed a little girl but proving it proves to be difficult.

Emeril Live (Food Network): New. Emeril prepares a crab feast.
Battlestar Galactica (Sci Fi): Season Premiere. The third season kicks off tonight with Humans living under the Cylons rule on New Caprica while Adama plans a rescue mission. Runs two hours and plays twice.

- Behind the Bash (Food Network): New. Giada shows you how they party on a cruise ship.
- Doctor Who (Sci Fi): New. A deadly trap is revealed when they travel back to 1879 and encounter Queen Victoria.
- Monk (USA): Repeat. Monk loses his sight in this episode and finds it glorious as the things that bother him don’t seem to when he can’t see them.
- Paula’s Party (Food Network): New. See good food prepared and good fun had by all.
- Take Home Chef (TLC): New. Two episodes play including one where a gourmet burger is prepared. Replays again later.

- ESPN has MLB Playoff action with the Minnesota Twins at the Oakland A’s for Game 3 followed by the New York Yankees at the Detroit Tigers in Game 3 of their series.
