Bones - The Complete 1st SeasonLots of good TV watching tonight as four of the five broadcast networks has something worth checking out. Your best bet by network is Bones on FOX, Lost on ABC, 30 Rock on NBC and Criminal Minds on CBS with The CW the odd network out. What looks good to you this Wednesday night on TV? Do you think Criminal Minds will continue to rise in the ratings? Will anybody be checking out The Rich List on FOX? What is the deal with the resurgence of game shows in primetime?

Prime Picks

Bones (FOX): New. The team investigates when the remains of a young woman are found at a water filtration plant and Hodgins finally asks Angela out on a date.

Lost (ABC): New. Eko is dealing with demons from his past while some head to the Pearl station to find a computer that might help them locate Jack, Kate and Sawyer. Jack is unsure who is telling the truth when two of the Others are arguing with each other. Runs 61 minutes.

CSI: NY (CBS): New. Tonight “Murder Sings the Blues.”

Jericho (CBS): New. Gray Anderson is back and tells everyone the horrifying things he saw while on the road. Jake tries his hand at negotiation when Jonah Prowse comes to get the guy they locked up for stealing horses.

Criminal Minds (CBS): New. J.J. is a lot of help in putting together the profile of the unsub when three college athletes go missing on the night of the pep rally.

The Nine (ABC): New. Nick and Kathryn find information about Eva and the robbery that they do not like. Malcolm has to deal with a friend’s widow.

Cable Choices

Emeril Live (Food Network): New. The Soweto Gospel Choir is the musical guest tonight.

MythBusters (Discovery Channel): New. The guys try to see how explosive butane lighters can be.

Good Eats (Food Network): Repeat. Get ready to stuff it tonight with Alton.
Ham on the Street (Food Network): New. Fun with frozen foods is had.

Other Options

  • Professional Poker Tour (Travel Channel): New. See the fourth quarter from the Bellagio. Runs two hours.
  • The Rich List (FOX): Show Premiere. Contestants must complete lists to win money. They say there is no limit to how much that can be.
  • 30 Rock (NBC): New. Liz tries everything she can think of to keep Jack out of the writers’ room.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN has an NBA doubleheader with the Washington Wizards at the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first followed by the Los Angeles Clippers at the Phoenix Suns.
  • ESPN2 has college football action with Fresno State at Boise State.
