Ray Allen Seattle Supersonics Authentic Green NBA JerseyThings of note tonight are that Men in Trees on ABC is not on this week, Vanished has returned to FOX from its baseball hiatus, Heroes repeats on Sci Fi and Grey’s Anatomy repeats on ABC. What looks good to you tonight on the tube?

Prime Picks

Vanished (FOX): New. A new agent is now in charge of the Sara Collins investigation played by Eddie Cibrian (Invasion). The show picks up right where it left off before baseball.

Las Vegas (NBC): New. Mike is off to Hawaii to help Sam with her whale of a problem while Danny and Delinda heat up the screen. Ed returns from his trip with some interesting news regarding his past.

Numb3rs (CBS): New. A bunch of blackouts have been hitting Los Angeles and the team must determine whether they are terrorist related or something else. Don sees his former trainee in a new light and sparks start to fly.

Solid Selections

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): Repeat. Last night’s episode, “Let the Angels Commit,” replays tonight.

Close to Home (CBS): New. A father is killed at a school function and three of the other mothers are suspects.

Law & Order (NBC): New. Chevy Chase plays a Mel Gibson inspired character. Ripped from the headlines, indeed.

Cable Choices

Doctor Who (Sci Fi): New. The Doctor and Rose end up in a very “V” for Vendetta like London. Plays again later.

Battlestar Galactica (Sci Fi): New. Part 1 of 2 where a virus is killing off the Cylons and they make some horrible decisions to save their race. Plays again later.

Paula’s Party (Food Network): New. Paula shows you how to make some childhood favorites all grown up.

Other Options

  • Heroes (Sci Fi): Repeat. Monday’s episode, “Better Halves,” plays before Doctor Who.
  • What Not to Wear (TLC): Repeats. A couple of women get made over by Stacy and Clinton.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN has the second round of the Tour Championship golf tournament early and later has an NBA doubleheader with the Cleveland Cavaliers at the San Antonio Spurs followed by my hometown Seattle Sonics at the Los Angeles Lakers.
  • ESPN2 has college football with Air Force at Army.
