Tonight on the Tube: Grey’s Anatomy, Shark and a Super-Sized NBC Comedy Block

Download The Office Episodes at iTunesNBC adds a few extra minutes to My Name Is Earl, The Office and new to Thursday night, 30 Rock. Turning three shows into a two hour and one minute comedy block. Soon this comedy block will include Scrubs as well. That will make one very good block of comedy. All of them at a minimum will make the TiVo list each week. Will this be the return of Must See TV on NBC? Will you be watching? Or, does Scrubs and 30 Rock have no shot up against Grey’s and CSI?

Smallville (The CW): New. Clark heads for my hometown of Seattle after a Zoner attacks a ship’s crew.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): New. George’s family comes to visit with his dad in the hospital. Meredith is trying to have a positive outlook about life. Addison and Mark try being civil to each other while the Chief tries to patch things up with his wife.

Shark (CBS): New. A car runs down a young black woman after leaving a party in a wealthy white neighborhood. The team prosecutes the case, which looks to be racially motivated.

My Name Is Earl (NBC): New. See Christian Slater guest star as the next person on Earl’s list who is off living on an eco-friendly commune, which puts Earl on the path to stop global warming. Runs a super-sized 36 minutes.
The Office (NBC): New. The Stamford and Scranton branches are merging and Jim and Pam will be back in the same office once again. Runs a super-sized 44 minutes.
30 Rock (NBC): New. Liz gets Jack into a sketch and Frank and Toofer are trying to get Jenna to fear she is going to be fired. Liz also thinks that Tracy is faking being illiterate to get out of going to rehearsals. Runs a super-sized 41 minutes.

ER (NBC): New. Abby and Kovac argue about a patient’s diagnosis. Runs 59 minutes.

Essence of Emeril (Food Network): Repeat. Emeril cooks up some Thanksgiving treats.
Boy Meets Grill (Food Network): New. A spice rubbed turkey breast and grilled portobellos with wild rice.

Joan Cusack’s Local Flavor (Travel Channel): New. A Christmas in Austria is experienced.

Sandra Lee’s Semi-Homemade Thanksgiving (Food Network): Repeat. Learn how to take some short cuts in the kitchen and still make a great meal without losing all the tastiness.

  • CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS): New. A pair of twins is murdered but the team must determine if the crimes are related.
  • The O.C. (FOX): New. Summer thinks that going to Brown may have changed her forever while Seth keeps supporting the new Summer in her new activities. Ryan meanwhile is helping Taylor with her problem.
  • Ugly Betty (ABC): New. Daniel goes to brunch at his parents where he hopes he will bump into Sofia. Wilhelmina tries her hand at cooking a turkey, a task she has never done before.

  • ESPN has West Virginia at Pittsburgh in college football action.
  • ESPN2 has college basketball.
  • TNT has an NBA doubleheader with the Chicago Bulls at the Houston Rockets followed by the Sacramento Kings at the Golden State Warriors.
