There are many ways to ring in the New Year tonight on the tube. There are also a whole lot of TV marathons during the day and of course NFL games to be watched. The best of the New Year’s Eve TV Marathons are Ugly Betty on ABC Family, Entourage on HBO, Seinfeld on TBS, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on USA and the biggest of them all Twilight Zone on the Sci Fi Channel, which doesn’t end until Tuesday morning. See a pretty complete listing of marathons that can be found on TV today below and come back tomorrow for a list of New Year’s Day TV marathons. Shark (CBS): Repeat. A young black woman was rundown and the high profile unit prosecutes the case.

Desperate Housewives (ABC): Repeat. Susan finds out that Mike has come out of his coma while she is away with Ian. Tom continues to chase his dream.

Dick Clark’s Primetime New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2007 (ABC): New. Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest host as Rihanna, KT Tunstall, Rascal Flatts and others perform.

The Simpsons (FOX): Repeat. The “Jazzy and the Pussycats” episode replays with guests The White Stripes.
American Dad (FOX): Repeat. The “Stan of Arabia” episode replays.

Cold Case (CBS): Repeat. A photo of an overweight woman being forced to drink at a fraternity party turns up and gives the detectives some new direction to reopen the case.

Without a Trace (CBS): Repeat. The team searches for a missing columnist and are unsure what to make of items found in her apartment.

Emeril’s Kicked Up New Years Celebration (Food Network): Repeat. See what Emeril cooks up for a special New Year’s dinner.

When Harry Met Sally (Oxygen): Released 1989. Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan in the classic romantic comedy that comes to a climax on New Year’s Eve. It runs two hours and plays twice tonight.

Tonight on the Tube: Ugly Betty, Friday Night Lights, Bowl Games and TV Show Marathons

Friday Night Lights TV PosterABC has a mini marathon of Ugly Betty episodes but on cable you will find a few TV show marathons. The best of today’s bunch is the Friday Night Lights marathon on Bravo. They are playing all 10 of the episodes so far from this season. This is a show definitely worth checking out. It is one of the best new shows of the season and one that will be sticking around for the entire season. Come back tomorrow for a complete listing of all the New Year’s Eve TV marathons and again on New Year’s Day for what will probably be a whole bunch more. Ugly Betty (ABC): Repeats. Tonight you will find three episodes of this fun show. If you haven’t yet checked it out here is your chance. In the first episode Betty is sent to check out a new posh hotel. In the second Betty has a hard time putting together a photo shoot on the day after Thanksgiving. In the third Betty has to deal with Amanda going after her job.

CSI: NY (CBS): Repeat. A model collapse on the runway and dies and the team must determine if it was the body paint she was wearing or something else that did her in.

Without a Trace (CBS): Repeat. Jack heads to Tokyo to find a dishonorably discharged soldier who has gone missing after getting out of jail.

Law & Order (NBC): Repeat. McCoy puts his career in jeopardy when he uses a corrupt DEA agent to help him lure a murderer.

Tonight on the Tube: Smallville Marathon, Bowl Games and Paula’s Party

Get Smallville - The Complete First Season on DVDThis is the last Friday of the year and there isn’t much on tonight. During the day you can catch nine pretty good episodes of Smallville, which includes the “Pilot” episode. This week has given me a chance to catch up on shows that I TiVo ’d but hadn’t watched yet. I have now seen the all the episodes of The Unit for this season with two and three episode mini marathons each night this week. It makes it like watching one really long exciting action movie. Have you been catching up on any shows this week?

America’s Funniest Home Videos (ABC): Repeat. Driving through store windows and doing cannonballs are just some of the fun that is shown in this replay.

Las Vegas (NBC): Repeat. The season premiere replays tonight where Ed is shot and Delinda finally admits her feelings for Danny.

Numb3rs (CBS): Repeat. Charlie finds a photo on a hard drive during an investigation and continues to look into it even after he is asked not to by his brother.

The Rundown (FOX): Released 2003. The Rock plays a bounty hunter sent to find the son of his boss. Runs two hours.

Tonight on the Tube: Repeats, Independence Bowl, Holiday Bowl and NBA Basketball

Get The Office - Season Two on DVDYour choice tonight is to pick your favorite repeat or pick something you have never watched before and give it a shot. If the two-hour comedy block on NBC fits that bill then I highly recommend you check it out, as each episode is pretty good. For something new you can check out the first season finale of the comedy My Boys on TBS. For the sports fans out there you will find three doubleheaders tonight. There are a couple of college football bowl games, a couple of college basketball games and a couple of NBA games.

My Name Is Earl (NBC): Repeat. The “Jump for Joy” episode replays with guest star Burt Reynolds.
The Office (NBC): Repeat. “The Convention” episode replays where Michael tries to throw a party in his room.

Scrubs (NBC): Repeat. Dr. Cox starts hitting the bottle a bit much after one of his decisions doesn’t workout as he had hoped in “My Fallen Idol.”
30 Rock (NBC): Repeat. Jack tries to set Liz up with a friend for dinner.

Men in Trees (ABC): Repeat. The town decides to throw Marin a birthday party but her sister shows up to steal away the spotlight.
