24 Season Five, Mission: Impossible Season One, Saturday Night Live Season One and More TV Shows New on DVD

“What’s New Scooby-Doo?” I asked, as he was about to order his dinner.

“Have you heard about The Adventures of the Little Prince over the weekend?” He replied.

“No, I have not,” I said. “I was with Garfield and Friends all weekend playing Dungeons & Dragons. What happened?”

So, he told me the story of what happened. Here is a condensed version of what I remember, as Scooby tends to get easily sidetracked while telling a story when he is hungry:

The Little Prince was on his way to meet up with his Happy Tree Friends and go to a comedy club like any other Saturday Night. Live comedy was one of his favorite things and the comedy duo Pinky and the Brain were going to be opening for Roseanne. It had been sold out for weeks but he got his tickets early, as it would be Mission: Impossible to get any now. On his way there he got caught up in a fight between the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and a group of thugs that had been terrorizing the area like a bunch of Animaniacs. He was barely able to escape from the rumble when he realized that the show started in 24 minutes and he wasn’t going to make it in time and he had all the tickets. Fortunately, The Dukes of Hazard were driving by in the General Lee and were able to give him a ride to the club. When he got there he told his friends what happened and they all thought he was incredibly lucky to be a Survivor: Vanuatu. The next weekend he decided to just stay home and watch some TV shows that were new on DVD, like the ones listed below.

Prime New on DVD Pick

24 - Season Five on DVD24 – Season Five
Season five of 24 sure had a lot of twists and turns and many a character didn’t make it through yet another terrifying day in Los Angeles. Jack Bauer is once again at his super agent best as he uncovers each and every clue bringing him one step closer to solving the puzzle and getting the proof he needs to stop the bad guys. The great thing about watching a series like this on DVD is that it will only take about 18 hours instead of 24 to watch the whole thing because of the lack of commercials. Also at the end of an episode that leaves you wanting to see more, which is most of them, you can watch another right then with no waiting. Have yourself your own TV show marathon but don’t forget the special features which includes a short episode that takes place between the end of season five and the beginning of season six. Get this set and get ready for the sixth season rollercoaster ride that begins with back-to-back episodes each night on January 14th and 15th. Other special features include commentaries on 12 episodes, behind the scenes featurettes, deleted scenes and more.
