I was throwing a retirement party on my boat for Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. It was going to be a Full House as everyone from Andy Griffith to Voltron: Defender on the Universe was invited. For some reason Andy wanted everybody to refer to him as The Andy Griffith. I guess when someone changes their name to yours in hopes of winning an election, you want to try and differentiate yourself as the original. Dog the Bounty Hunter arrived hungry and went straight for the buffet but couldn’t find the plates. So, I told him to have The Andy Griffith Show him where the plates were Stacked at the end of the table. Watching him chow down was like watching a movie from one of the Masters of Horror. Considering the guest list, there was plenty of Law & Order. Criminal Intent would have been sniffed out immediately. Everyone seemed to enjoy our Ocean Odyssey even though we never left the dock. The entire night was filmed and a few weeks later Gomer received a beautiful DVD package. He would now be able to relive the night anytime he wanted or at least when he wasn’t watching one of the new TV show DVDs below.

Stacked – The Complete Series
This fish out of water comedy starring Pamela Anderson was not nearly as bad as people made it out to be. It was actually quite funny. Significantly better comedy wise than The Loop, which FOX kept while canceling this. Stacked was not a great sitcom but it had laughs, which is what I look for in a comedy. It was your standard sitcom and the jokes were very similar in style to Two and a Half Men. Given the crop of unfunny sitcoms that have debuted this season Stacked would have, well, stacked up nicely against pretty much any of them. Anderson played a party girl who needed a change in her life and after seeing the help wanted sign at a small bookstore run by a couple of brothers decided that this was the change she needed. The DVD set includes all 19 of the series’ episodes on three discs, which includes five episodes that were never aired. Special features include a couple of featurettes with Anderson, deleted scenes and a blooper reel.
