There are many ways to ring in the New Year tonight on the tube. There are also a whole lot of TV marathons during the day and of course NFL games to be watched. The best of the New Year’s Eve TV Marathons are Ugly Betty on ABC Family, Entourage on HBO, Seinfeld on TBS, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on USA and the biggest of them all Twilight Zone on the Sci Fi Channel, which doesn’t end until Tuesday morning. Shark (CBS): Repeat. A young black woman was rundown and the high profile unit prosecutes the case.

Desperate Housewives (ABC): Repeat. Susan finds out that Mike has come out of his coma while she is away with Ian. Tom continues to chase his dream.

Dick Clark’s Primetime New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2007 (ABC): New. Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest host as Rihanna, KT Tunstall, Rascal Flatts and others perform.

The Simpsons (FOX): Repeat. The “Jazzy and the Pussycats” episode replays with guests The White Stripes.

Emeril’s Kicked Up New Years Celebration (Food Network): Repeat. See what Emeril cooks up for a special New Year’s dinner.

When Harry Met Sally (Oxygen): Released 1989. Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan in the classic romantic comedy that comes to a climax on New Year’s Eve. It runs two hours and plays twice tonight.

  • CBS has NFL Football.
  • ESPN has the MPC Computers Bowl with Miami vs. Nevada on the fake blue grass field.
  • FOX has NFL Football including the Seattle Seahawks at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the Hawks needing a win to go into the playoffs on a high note.
  • NBC has the ADT Skills Challenge golf event and later Sunday Night Football with the Green Bay Packers at the Chicago Bears.
