When today is over we will know who will be playing two weeks from now in the Super Bowl between all the commercials. If you are not an NFL fan you can always check out the Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip marathon. Seven of the eleven episodes from the fall play during the day on Bravo and will keep you firmly ensconced on your couch. I believe the show has gotten a bit of a bad wrap, I think it is better than most give it credit for. For you science fiction fans out there The Dresden Files makes its debut tonight on Sci Fi Channel as well as Battlestar Galactica on its new night. What looks good to you, tonight on the tube?

The Dresden Files (Sci Fi): Series Premiere. A young boy tells Dresden that monsters are chasing him. This new show looks like it might be pretty good. The premise sounds interesting anyway. Plays again after Battlestar Galactica.

Battlestar Galactica (Sci Fi): New. This is the debut of the show in its new night and time. A supernova is threatening to destroy the algae planet giving the Galactica knowing they need to find Earth as soon as possible. Plays gain after a second showing of The Dresden Files.

• Dirt (FX): Repeat. The “Ovophagy” episode from last week replays.
• Extras (HBO): New. David Bowie is encountered.
• Iron Chef America (Food Network): New. Chef Homaru Cantu challenges Iron Chef Morimoto.
• Rome (HBO): New. Cleopatra has arrived and pays her respects to the new Caesar. Last week’s premiere episode plays right before this one.
