Tonight on the Tube: Las Vegas, Numb3rs, Monk and Psych

Get Las Vegas: Season 3 on DVDOccasionally, I like to clarify how Tonight on the Tube is laid out. So, here goes. Prime Picks are what TVaholic thinks are your best bet for each hour of primetime on the five major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and The CW). Solid Selections are your second best bet on the networks. Cable Choices are your best bet on cable for each hour of primetime. Other Options are shows listed alphabetically that sound interesting or look good from both network TV and cable. Sports Notes are pretty self-explanatory. So, if you were looking to watch something in the second hour of primetime tonight? TVaholic’s recommendations would be Las Vegas or secondarily Close to Home on network TV and Monk on cable. Also of note, is that just because something is posted, as a Pick, Selection or Choice doesn’t mean it is a great show, just that it is the best bet given what else is on TV that night during that hour. For example, TVaholic doesn’t particularly care for 1 vs. 100 but thinks it is the second best viewing option in the first hour of primetime on network TV tonight.
