Tonight on the Tube: Reba Says Goodbye, On Housewives Someone’s Going to Die and Dresden Tracks Evil on Sci Fi

Reba - Season 4While sports fans will be interested in the 2007 NBA All-Star Game on TNT tonight, TV fans will be interested in a few other happenings. First, Reba bids a fond see ya’ll later on The CW tonight. The final two episodes air right before 7th Heaven. Secondly, the folks on Wisteria Lane are going to lose another neighbor tonight. Who do you think it’s going to be? Lastly, fans of the show Everwood will be happy to see Emily VanCamp back on TV. She has been cast to play the daughter of the deceased William Walker and his longtime mistress Holly Harper. The girl has no idea of how many half brothers and sisters she has but she meets one by accident tonight.

Prime Picks

The Simpsons (FOX): New. A documentary filmmaker comes to town to profile is growth and change over the years while Homer tries out a few different jobs.
King of the Hill (FOX): New. Bill lets Bobby in on his secret barbecue sauce after he starts feeling down over the fact that he has no kids of his own.

Desperate Housewives (ABC): New. The Scavo Pizzeria finally opens and everyone gathers there for the big grand opening. One resident of Wisteria Lane doesn’t make the end of the episode alive while marriage proposals are a flying. Runs 63 minutes.

Brothers & Sisters (ABC): New. Emily VanCamp (Everwood) joins the cast as the Walker daughter no one knew about but Tommy gets to meet by accident tonight. In other happenings Kitty may change her mind on the good senator after talking with his staffers and Sarah and Joe go to therapy with guest star Joel Grey.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (ABC): New. A family in Austin, Texas with 5 autistic children gets a new house built for them by the team and Trace Adkins performs.

Cold Case (CBS): New. A yuppie couple was murder in 1981 and some new evidence comes to light giving the squad new direction to reopen the case.

Crossing Jordan (NBC): New. Lily accompanies Jordan to go pick up a body and they promptly loose him. Meanwhile the special prosecutor is still investigating the morgue.

Cable Choices

Emeril Live (Food Network): New. Ingredients that are fresh from the vine are turned into tasty dishes.

The Dresden Files (Sci Fi): New. Dresden is asked by a woman to find some stolen money but it turns out she is lying to him and it looks like something evil is behind the whole case. Plays again later.

Battlestar Galactica (Sci Fi): New. A couple of members of the crew get trapped in an airlock outside the ship. Plays again later.

Other Options

  • Dirt (FX): Repeat. The “Come Together” episode from last Tuesday replays.
  • Without a Trace (CBS): New. The foreman of a water plant goes missing and the prime suspect is a former employee who had threatened him recently.

  • CBS has college basketball with Georgia Tech at Duke followed by the final round of the Nissan Open golf tournament.
