Tonight is the season finales of ‘Til Death on FOX, Friday Night Lights on NBC and Top Design on Bravo. While NBC hasn’t announced a second season for Lights, they did just order six scripts, which can only be taken as a positive sign. Here’s hoping they bring it back for a second season. NBC also order more Medium scripts recently, which could be a good sign for that show as well. Bones will not be on do to the ‘Til Death finale, but will be back next week with a new episode. American Idol starts with their expanded results shows tonight, as they will now be an hour long. What will they possibly do for an hour? Correction from yesterday’s item about Notes from the Underbelly, while it will debut after Grey’s Anatomy tomorrow, it will be the second half of the first hour of primetime on Wednesday nights and not Tuesday nights that will be its regular timeslot. What will you be watching tonight?
Prime Picks
Friday Night Lights (NBC): Season Finale. The Dillon Panthers have finally made it to the State Championship. Gossip is starting to spread around town about Coach and TMU. Tami gets a surprise. Hopefully this isn’t the series finale. This is one show that should get another season, as it is one of the best dramas on TV right now.
Criminal Minds (CBS): New. Finally back with a new episode. In this one Agent Prentiss’ mother, the Ambassador, request help from the team when a Russian immigrant is kidnapped. Guest star Kate Jackson (Charlie’s Angels) plays the mother.
Lost (ABC): New. Jack, Kate, Sayid and Juliet make it back to camp, which has them happy to see Jack, but not so much to see one of the Others with them. It looks like the flashbacks will be about Juliet this week.
Solid Selections
Jericho (CBS): New. Jake finds out that Hawkins may not be telling what he really knows about what is going on.
Crossing Jordan (NBC): New. Macy takes Jordan to the hospital for the brain surgery she needs. Woody investigates a murder that has something to do with an eyewitness that was going to testify against a gang member.
CSI: NY (CBS): New. A man dies while wearing medieval armor and the team investigates. Also, a body is stolen from a coroner’s van.
Cable Choices
Emeril Live (Food Network): New. Emeril gets a bit fishy tonight.
MythBusters (Discovery Channel): New. The guys take on the myth of the being able to put out a fire with only a voice.
Good Eats (Food Network): Repeat. Find out all about “Pop Culture†from Alton Brown.
Dinner: Impossible (Food Network): New. A cocktail reception for a fraternity is prepared.
Other Options
- American Idol (FOX): New. Find out who is going home. I think it will be Haley Scarnato, but who knows. J.Lo performs.
- World Poker Tour (Travel Channel): New. Watch the Legends of Poker. Runs two hours. I read recently that this show will be moving to the Game Show Network for its next season.
