Tonight is the season finale of Jericho; hopefully it isn’t the series finale and will be back next season. We will find out next week. Most everything else has its season finale next Wednesday, except for American Idol and Lost, which have their finales on May 23rd. Yesterday, I reported that Rescue Me would premiere on June 12th, well that has been changed to Wednesday, June 13th, as Wednesday nights will be the shows new home. In renewal news, NBC announced that Medium would return next season. That should be good news for fans of that show. I wonder if NBC will move it back to Monday nights, as it used to do much better in that timeslot than anything they tried to put there this season. What do you think?
Prime Picks
Jericho (CBS): Season Finale. The town must defend itself from an attack by New Bern. Buzz is that a major cast member doesn’t make it though the episode. I really wish shows could figure out a way to drum up interest, than by killing off a substantive character.
Criminal Minds (CBS): New. Homeless people are disappearing from the city streets and the team goes there to investigate.
Lost (ABC): New. Locke gets some secrets of the island from Ben. Juliet’s secret is out, but what does Jack know?
Solid Selections
Bones (FOX): New. The case of the glowing remains. Should be fun as always.
American Idol (FOX): New. Barry Gibb performs and another contestant bid farewell.
CSI: NY (CBS): New. John McEnroe guest tonight, but he has an alibi for the murder that everything else point to him.
Cable Choices
Emeril Live (Food Network): Repeat. Favorites of New Yorkers are made.
Challenge (Food Network): Repeat. A Guinness world record for tallest popcorn structure is attempted.
Hustle (AMC): New. The team runs another con. Runs 75 minutes.
Other Options
- Crossing Jordan (NBC): New. Woody and Jordan investigate the case of a man that has been murdered, but has yet to die.
- Thank God You’re Here (NBC): New. Paul Rodriguez, Kurtwood Smith, Ana Gasteyer and Nicole Sullivan take a shot at improvisation.
- World Poker Tour (Travel Channel): New. Watch the final table from the North American Poker Championship. Runs two hours.
Sports Notes
- ESPN has Wednesday Night Baseball with the Texas Rangers at the New York Yankees.
