This is the 1000th post here at TVaholic, which is the 712th Tonight on the Tube post.
Tonight, you will find the midseason finale of Kyle XY on ABC Family. The show will return with 10 more new episodes in early 2008. Also, ABC Family is also playing nine episodes from this season leading up to tonight’s finale. Also, tonight is part one of a two-part season finale of The Closer on TNT and the whole season up to now replays leading up to it. Part two plays next week. If you are a Justin Timberlake fan, HBO has a FutureSex/LoveShow concert special tonight, from his tour stop in New York. Also, take note of the Labor Day TV Marathons listed below, as there are a whole lot of them today, besides the Kyle XY and The Closer ones.

How I Met Your Mother (CBS) Repeat. The one where Barney gets on The Price Is Right, because his mom told him growing up that Bob Barker was his father. Classic.
The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS): Repeat. Barb and Pete are having problems, so she moves in with Christine. Jason Alexander (Seinfeld) will make an appearance on the show in the new season, which is schedule for midseason sometime. Well, unless The Big Bang Theory totally tanks, then it will be back sooner.
Heroes (NBC): Repeat. Quite possibly the best episode from season one, “Company Man,” replays, where Greg and Sprague take H.R.G. and his family hostage.
CSI: Miami (CBS): Repeat. Wolfe’s personal life is getting in the way of his job and a current investigation, so Horatio has to fire him.
Solid Selections
Prison Break (FOX): Repeat. Michael wants to confront the president with the evidence they now have in “Sweet Caroline.” The last four episodes of season two replay, with two tonight and the final two next week. The third season begins in two weeks on September 17th.

Dateline NBC (NBC): New. Bill Stanton, a security consultant, goes around the country demonstrating how to be safe and aware of your surroundings.

The Closer (TNT): Season Finale Part One. Tonight, Brenda and the team investigate a high profile case where it seems that everything points away from their prime suspect. So, in next week’s conclusion, she has to take the stand in the case, which is filled with cameos from CNN’s Larry King, Court TV’s Rikki Klieman and Dominick Dunne and U.S. Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-Calif.). Plays again later. See TV Marathons below for info on today’s The Closer marathon.
Saving Grace (TNT): New. Grace needs some help from her grandfather for a case. Plays again late night Thursday.
