30 Rock (NBC): New. C.C. wants to take her and Jack’s relationship public, but he is not so sure. Meanwhile, Liz is trying to keep both Jenna and Tracy happy as the stars of the show.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): New. Part 2 of the “Crash Into Me” episode continues the story with Meredith trying to save the life of the paramedic and Lexie dealing with the exploding artery patient. Bailey is having trouble keeping balance in her work and home life. Runs 62 minutes.

Without a Trace (CBS): New. An ex-con goes missing and the team investigates whether her past has come back to haunt her. Also, Vivian continues with the investigation into human trafficking with the help of guest star James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer).

Ugly Betty (ABC): New. Henry doesn’t want to, but agrees to go on a double date. Wilhemina is trying to change her image from mean to nice, but her plans falter when she has a run in with guest star Betty White.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS): New. Warrick becomes the lead suspect in a crime and his growing addiction to pills is not helping him out any.

ER (NBC): New. 300th Episode. Luka and Abby are planning a trip to Croatia after his father’s death. Peter Fonda guest-stars.

Cable Choices

Food Network Challenge (Food Network): Repeat. Contestants compete to create the winning holiday themed cake. Plays again later.

Iron Chef America (Food Network): Repeat. Sunday’s battle between Iron Chef Cat Cora and Chef Todd Richards replays. Replays again later.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent (USA): New. Goren’s nephew says he witnessed a murder at the prison mental ward and Goren goes undercover to see if it really happened. Plays again later. On Wednesday, January 2nd, the original Law & Order will return to NBC with a two-hour episode and then take over its historic third hour of primetime timeslot, presently occupied by Life. It will be joined the next week on January 9th by Law & Order: Criminal Intent in the timeslot that Bionic Woman has been playing in. Bionic Woman has aired its last episode complete before the strike and Life will do so soon, but Life has been given a full season order.

  • Mad Men (AMC): Repeat. The “Long Weekend” episode replays, where Don loses an account and Roger tries to cheer him up. Replays again later.

  • ESPN2 has college basketball with Providence at South Carolina.
  • TNT has an NBA doubleheader with the Denver Nuggets at the Dallas Mavericks followed by the Miami Heat at the Portland Trail Blazers.

Bravo has 10 episodes of Top Chef leading up to tonight’s Top Chef: Holiday Special episode, where past contestants return to create holiday meals for a $20,000 prize.
