Chuck (NBC): Repeat. Monday’s episode, “Chuck Versus the Crown Vic” replays.

30 Rock (NBC): Repeat. The “Rosemary’s Baby” episode from earlier this season with guest star Carrie Fisher (Star Wars).
Saturday Nigh Live (NBC): “The Best of Will Ferrell” plays tonight in primetime. Runs 90 minutes. NBC will be airing compilation episodes of Saturday Night Live during primetime on Saturdays. Next week is “The Best of Chris Farley.”

Solid Selections

Numb3rs (CBS): Repeat. A really good episode from last season replays, “One Hour.” Charlie and the rest of the team must act fast, while Don is unreachable at a therapy session.

NCIS (CBS): Repeat. The “Twisted Sister” episode from last season replays, where McGee’s sister comes to him for help and he goes against procedure to help her.

Women’s Murder Club (ABC): Repeat. The series premiere episode, “Welcome to the Club” replays.

Cable Choices

Rachael Ray’s Holiday Feast (Food Network): Repeat. Rachael cooks up some Cornish game hens and some almond spiced whipped cream and pumpkin pie. Plays again later.

All Star Holiday Spirit (Food Network): Repeat. Food Network personalities share some of their favorite holiday recipes. Plays again later.

Paula’s Party (Food Network): New. Amy Grant sings a special song and helps cook a ham. Chef Robert Irvine (Dinner: Impossible) works with Paula on a special brunch challenge. Plays again later.

Other Options

  • Dr. Suess’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (ABC): Released 2000. The live action version starring Jim Carey as the Grinch plays tonight. Anthony Hopkins narrates the classic story. Runs two hours.
  • Lost Holiday: The Jim and Suzanne Shemwell Story (Lifetime): Premiere. Part of Falalala Lifetime. Based on the true story of an estranged couple that end up stranded in a blizzard, just days before the big holiday and must do whatever they can to survive. Runs two hours. Plays again Monday night.
  • The Note (Hallmark Channel): Premiere. Genie Francis (General Hospital) stars as an advice columnist that makes it her mission to find the person a note was intended for when a plane crashes and the note is found on a scrap in the wreckage. Runs two hours. Plays again Thursday night.
  • Trading Spaces (TLC): New. Four people in Philadelphia switch places and do some redecorating. Plays again later.

Sports Notes

  • CBS has a college basketball doubleheader with Michigan at Duke followed by Kentucky at Indiana.
  • ESPN has college basketball with DePaul at Kansas followed by the second semifinal of the NCAA Division I Tournament of college football and then later has the 2007 Heisman Trophy Presentation.
  • ESPN2 has a college basketball tripleheader starting early with Dayton at Louisville, then Purdue at Missouri and then Marquette at Wisconsin. Later they have the second college football semifinal of the NCAA Division II Tournament.
  • NBA TV has the Utah Jazz at the Dallas Mavericks.

Late Night

  • Law & Order: Criminal Intent (USA): Repeat. Thursday’s episode, “Untethered,” replays. If you haven’t been able to catch new episodes on USA, they will be replaying the season from the beginning on NBC starting Wednesday, January 9th and will be followed by new episodes of Law & Order.
  • MADtv (FOX): Repeat. A compilation of TV inspired parodies plays.
  • Saturday Night Live (NBC): Repeat. Hosted by Jack Black and the musical guest was Neil Young.
  • Talkshow With Spike Feresten (FOX): Repeat. It is the one from the beginning of the season where Jerry Seinfeld took over the show.

ABC Family has animated holiday specials like Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town all day and is capped off by an two airings of The Polar Express with The Santa Clause 2 playing in between.
Bravo has five episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County early.
Discovery Channel has eight episodes of Planet Earth.
Food Network has holiday and Christmas themed shows all day.
Hallmark Channel has five holiday themed TV movies including the premiere of The Note tonight.
Lifetime has six holiday themed TV movies today including the premiere of Lost Holiday tonight.
MTV has 11 episodes of America’s Next Top Model.
