Tonight on the Tube: How I Met Your Mother, Aliens in America, Samantha Who? & Journeyman

Tonight, A&E has the series premiere of Paranormal State, MTV has the season finale of The Hills and USA has the WWE Raw: 15th Anniversary Special.

In other TV news, CBS has renewed The Big Bang Theory and announced that episodes of new comedy, The Captain, will take its place after How I Met Your Mother in the new year and The New Adventures of Old Christine will return, as well, and take over the Rules of Engagement timeslot after Two and a Half Men. Also, next year ABC will be premiering Dance War in the Dancing With the Stars timeslot, NBC will be playing American Gladiators in the Chuck timeslot, Deal or No Deal in the Heroes slot, and Medium in place of Journeyman, and FOX will have the return of Prison Break and the premiere of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Well, Monday nights in January don’t look that bad, although the NBC lineup will have seriously deteriorated from what we have enjoyed this fall. RSS and eMail subscribers should keep a lookout, as a Printable Midseason TV Schedule, with all this info and more, is in the works and should be available soon.

While NBC hasn’t yet renewed the show, which the TVaholic hopes they do, they have scheduled the remaining completed episodes to air. Tonight is the 10th episode, episode 11 will air next Monday and the 12th, and hopefully not final, episode will air on Wednesday, January 19th. It was written to serve as a finale that would answer some questions, but it will leave many more for future episodes. Come on NBC; continue this show like you did with Chuck and Life. This is one journey that should continue. What do you think about Journeyman? Would you like to see it continue after the strike?
