Prime Picks

NFC Divisional Playoff (FOX): My Seattle Seahawks at the Green Bay Packers for a chance at the NFC Championship Game. This is the battle of passing attacks and should be fun to watch. It is supposed to be cold, but no extreme weather conditions have been forecast. Broadcast begins at 4:30 p.m. ET. The pre-game show starts an hour before that.

AFC Divisional Playoff (CBS): The Jacksonville Jaguars will attempt to do what nobody else has done thus far this season, beat the New England Patriots. Looks for the Pats to focus on the Jags run game and make them pass the ball to win. Broadcast begins at 8:00 p.m. ET. The pre-game show begins a half hour before that.

Solid Selection

Pearl Harbor (ABC): Released 2001. Ben Affleck, Josh Hartnett and Kate Beckinsale in the big budget Michael Bay actioner about the December 7th, 1941 attack and its aftermath. Runs three commercially interrupted hours.

Cable Choices

Scrubs (Comedy Central): Repeats. Two episodes replay. First up is “My Mentor,” where J.D. is unable to get a cancer patient to stop smoking and seeks help from Dr. Cox. In the second, “My Best Friend’s Mistake,” J.D. is bummed when Turk starts spending all his time with his new girlfriend.

Queen Sized (Lifetime): Premiere. Nikki Blonsky (Hairspray) as a big girl who fights back against the popular kids when they pull one prank too many and she ends up being the homecoming queen. Runs two hours and plays again tomorrow and Monday nights. Read our review.

Other Options

  • Rachael’s Vacations (Food Network): New. Two episodes play. First, Rachael visits the Provence, France. In the second, she heads for Bordeaux, France.

  • CBS has college basketball with Vanderbilt at Kentucky and later the AFC Divisional Playoff. For more info, see Prime Picks above.
  • ESPN has a doubleheader of college basketball with North Carolina State at North Carolina followed by Connecticut at Georgetown early and later tonight has Kansas at Nebraska.
  • ESPN2 has Arizona at Houston in college basketball action early.

  • NBA TV has the Indiana Pacers at the Sacramento Kings tonight.
  • Versus has the Cornerstone Hula Bowl.

Hallmark Channel has six two-hour Jane Doe TV movies starring Lea Thompson and Joe Penny.
MTV has five episodes of Made followed by 10 episodes of America’s Next Top Model.
The N has 22 episodes of Degrassi: The Next Genereation.
Nickelodeon has 14 episodes of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air late.
Spike TV has nine episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
