Tonight on the Tube: American Idol Results, Lost, Eli Stone & Supernatural

Lost - The Video GameIn returning shows news for Thursdays, ABC will be back with new Ugly Betty and Grey’s Anatomy on April 24th, The CW will have more Smallville in March and then even more as of April 17th, and NBC will have new episodes of 30 Rock, The Office, Scrubs and ER as of April 10th. Prime Picks

American Idol: Results (FOX): New. Find out which two guys and which two girls will be sent packing. It wasn’t a great start to the competition over the last couple of nights.

Lost (ABC): New. Kate wants info from the hostage and her need to do so may put her in bad standing with Sawyer and Locke. Runs 62 minutes. Will have four pre-strike episodes remaining after tonight that will continue to air. Will shoot five more to air as of April 24th and will follow Grey’s Anatomy.

Eli Stone (ABC): New. Eli tries to help a guy that lost everything while he was in a coma for five years to get some part of his life back.

Solid Selections

Lost (ABC): Repeat. Last week’s episode, “The Economist,” replays.

Supernatural (The CW): New. Sam and Dean are trying to get the Colt back from Bela, but she tips off agent Henrickson and the guys get arrested. Last remaining pre-strike episode. Will be back on April 24th with the first of four new episodes. A repeat of “Night Shifter” from season two replays right before. Lipstick Jungle (NBC): New. Will the third time be the charm for this so far downer of a show? How about just a little fun, or happiness? Something? Anything? It is just too depressing.

Cable Choices

Friends (TBS): Repeats. The Thanksgiving episodes from season three, “The One With the Football,” replays followed by the Christmas episode from that season, “The One Where Rachel Quits.”

American Chopper (TLC): New. The guys continue work on the street bike/motocross hybrid bike. Plays again later.

Ace of Cakes (Food Network): New. First up is a repeat that is followed by a new episode where the gang makes a cake for Sir Roger Moore’s (the third James Bond) birthday.

Other Options

  • CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS): Repeat. The first part of this season’s crossover episode with Without a Trace, “Who & What,” replays. Will be back with new episodes on April 3rd.
  • My Name Is Earl (NBC): Repeat. The season premiere episodes, “My Name Is Inmate 28301-016, Part 1 & 2” replay. Will be back with new episodes as of April 3rd.
  • Without a Trace (CBS): Repeat. The conclusion of the crossover with CSI, “Why & Where,” replays. Will be back with new episodes on April 3rd.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN has college basketball with Pittsburgh at Notre Dame.
  • ESPN2 has doubleheader college basketball with Massachusetts at Rhode Island followed by Michigan at Minnesota.
  • Golf Channel has Day 2 action from the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship.
  • TNT has a NBA doubleheader with the Miami Heat at the Houston Rockets followed by my Seattle Sonics at the Portland Trailer Blazers.

Late Night

  • Psych (USA): Repeat. The season two finale, “Shawn (and Gus) of the Dead,” replays, where the guys investigate when a mummy goes missing at a museum.

TV Marathons

Oxygen has 12 episodes of Living Single.
Sci Fi has eight episodes of The Twilight Zone early.
