The Ten Commandments on DVDCBS announced earlier this week that their first broadcast of the EliteXC mixed martial arts bouts will be on Saturday, May 31st. This is the first of four CBS EliteXC Saturday Night Fights that will be broadcast on CBS this year.

NCAA Championship Tournament (CBS): Day 3. Well, 32 teams have already been sent packing and after tomorrow we will be down to the Sweet 16. There sure were some great games yesterday. Who doesn’t love a buzzer beater to win the game or a small school knocking off a perennial power? How does you bracket look so far?

The Ten Commandments (ABC): Released 1959. The annual pre-Easter airing of the classic film starring Charlton Heston as Moses plays tonight. Runs 4 hours and 44 minutes.

Cable Choices

Easter Unwrapped (Food Network): Repeat. Get a look at how marshmallow bunnies, malted eggs, and more holiday treats are made. Plays again later.

Torchwood (BBC America): New. Gwen ends up with a big problem after encountering a shape shifter on the night before her wedding.

Saturday Night Live (E!): Repeat. A Britney Spears hosted episode replays. Plays again later.

Other Options

  • Law & Order (NBC): Repeat. It looks like the wrong doctor may have been murdered in episode nine, “Executioner,” from earlier this season.
  • Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): Repeat. The body of a woman is found next to a man with a bullet in his head at a park in episode 12, “Signature,” from earlier this season.
  • Trading Spaces (TLC): New. A divorced couple makes over rooms in the others house. Plays again later.

Sports Notes

  • ABC has figure skating action from the ISU World Championships.
  • CBS has Day 3 action from the NCAA Championship Tournament most of the day.
  • ESPN has NIT college basketball action followed by NASCAR racing with the Nationwide Series: Pepsi 300.
  • ESPN2 has college basketball action with the Women’s NCAA Championship Tournament and also a little ISU World Championship figure skating thrown in.
  • NBC has third round action from the WGC CA Championship with Tiger only one behind the leader.

Late Night

  • MADtv (FOX): Repeat. Carlos Mencia was the special guest.
  • Saturday Night Live (NBC): Repeat. The Tina Fey hosted episode from four weeks ago with musical guest Carrie Underwood replays. This was one of the best episodes in a long time and is worth checking out if you missed it the first time around.

TV Marathons

G4 has 16 episodes of Totally Outrageous Behavior early and five episodes of Attack of the Show! tonight.
The N has 15 hours of Degrassi: The Next Generation episodes.
Nickelodeon has 16 episodes of George Lopez late.
Sci Fi has monster movies all day long including the premiere of Rock Monster tonight.
Spike TV has five episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation tonight.
Travel Channel has six episodes of Bizarre Foods With Andrew Zimmern.
TV One has 18 episodes of Amen.
VH1 has eight episodes of America’s Next Top Model.
