As usual, not much to watch tonight, especially if you aren’t a basketball fan, so why not watch the season two premiere of The Tudors before it airs tomorrow night on Showtime.

Prime Picks

NCAA Championship Tournament (CBS): Elite 8 – Day 1. Hopefully, the games tonight will be better than last night’s games. Blowouts, even if it is by this year’s Cinderella, are not what you are looking for when tuning in. Tonight, UCLA vs. Xavier and Louisville vs. North Carolina are trying to make the Final Four.

Solid Selections

Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC): Repeat. In the episode “Depth” from earlier this season, the detectives probe the world of deep-sea treasure hunting.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): Repeat. A girl is found in the trunk of a stolen car, in the episode “Blinded” from earlier this season.

Law & Order (NBC): Repeat. Connie seems to have an admirer in the jury pool, as the trial of a prostitute in the murder of a schoolgirl is prosecuted, in the episodes “Tango” from earlier this season.

Cable Choices

The Secret Life Of … (Food Network): Repeat. The history of pizza is explored. Plays again later.

Torchwood (BBC America): New. When an old theater reopens, a mysterious horror from the past returns to Cardiff. Last week’s episode, “Something Borrowed,” replays right before.

Saturday Night Live (E!): Repeat. Ashton Kutcher was the host with musical guest Gwen Stefani. Plays again later. “The Best of Will Ferrell, Vol. 2” plays right before.

Other Options

  • Nickelodeon’s 2008 Kids’ Choice Awards (Nickelodeon): New Special. Jack Black hosts the festivities where awards are handed out to favorites voted on by kids. Runs 90 minutes and plays again later.
