Over on cable, Bravo has the season finale of The Real Housewives of New York and the season premiere of Work Out, Discovery Channel has the fourth season premiere Deadliest Catch, Golf Channel has the season premiere of Big Break: Ka’anapali, MTV has the season finale of Rob & Big, Oxygen has series premiere of Deion & Pilar: Prime Time Love, and TLC has the series premieres of Greenovate and Wasted.
In returning show news, The CW has Reaper back with new episodes beginning next week.
Prime Picks
NCIS (CBS): New. Abby is trying to protect a dog that has been accused of a fatal mauling. Meanwhile, Gibbs is trying to figure out the director’s secret.
Reaper (The CW): Repeat. Sam freaks when he finds out that an escapee is out to kill Andi. New episodes return next week.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): New. Benson goes undercover at a women’s prison to investigate a case.
Solid Selections
American Idol (FOX): New. The Top 7 perform songs of Mariah Carey and she is along to help them out. I find this week interesting. Picking a song that is famous for being sung by someone with a big voice tends to be a problem for many singers. This week they will all be in the same boat.
Dancing With Hell’s Big Loser (ABCFOXSN): New. Again, as with last few weeks, it continues to be sad when a Reaper repeat is the best thing in the time period. Only two weeks left until the return of Shark and one week until new Reaper episodes.
Boston Legal (ABC): New. Shirley asks Alan to represent her, as she wants to end her sick father’s suffering.
Cable Choices
Good Eats (Food Network): Repeats. First up, Alton cooks up some tasty lemon meringue pie and then he tells you about blueberries. Both episodes play again later.
Big Break: Ka’anapali (Golf Channel): Season Premiere. Twelve ladies compete to win a spot in an LPGA tournament this year, free entry into every Futures Tour event next season and a BMW Z4. Not to mention, they get to play golf in Hawaii until they lose a golf skills competition. Let the games begin. It replays multiple times throughout the week.
The Riches (FX): New. Dahlia is finding her double life hard to keep up. Wayne is visited at work by a private investigator. Cael runs into other Travellers while out on the road. Other Options
- Bones (TNT): Repeat. Season one continues replaying with episode 16, “The Woman in the Tunnel,” where remains of a filmmaker are found underground.
- The Office (TBS): Repeats. First up, see how the office deals with a “Fire” and then checkout there “Halloween” celebration.

- Versus has doubleheader NHL playoff action.

- Dirt (FX): Repeat. The season two finale episodes from Sunday, “In Lieu of Flowers …,” replays.

Bravo has eight hours of Work Out episodes, then seven episodes of The Real Housewives of New York and then the premiere of the new season of Work Out.
MTV has 13 episodes of Rob & Big early.
