These are all interviews that I came across in my travels around the TV related web over the past week. This week there are a lot of interviews with showrunners, producers and creators. Like Carter Bays of How I Met Your Mother and Bill Lawrence of Scrubs. Next week, I will work on getting this out early Saturday morning, so it goes out in that days subscriber emails instead of Sundays. At any rate, enjoy!

Interviews with TV Actors, Creators, Producers & More

  • Carter Bays & How I Met Your Mother Cast – Alan Sepinwall from What’s Alan Watching posted his thoughts and what he could remember from a How I Met Your Mother Q&A panel he hosted.
  • Fear Itself Producers & Actors – Monsters and Critics recently chatted with Fear Itself executive producers Andrew Deane and Keith Addis, special effects makeup artist, Howard Berger and Jesse Plemons (Friday Night Lights), who stars in the first episode “Sacrifice” and Eric Roberts from the second episode “Spooked.” The interview starts a bit down the page after a review of the anthology series. Fear Itself plays Thursday nights on NBC.
  • Justin Bruening – The Knight Rider star talks about what the show will be like now that it has gone to series and answers other questions at the Canadian broadcaster Global TV Upfronts, in this video posted over at the TV addict that runs about four minutes.
  • Kathy Griffin – Al Roker interviewed her on The Today Show about the upcoming fourth season of Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List and her hosting The A-List Awards on Bravo. Daytime Talk posted the video, which runs almost four minutes. D-List premieres Thursday June 12th on Bravo.
  • Javier Grillo-Marxuach – The creator and showrunner of talks about his new ABC Family show The Middleman. Rae over at RTVW took part in a conference that covered his getting to put his own ideas on the small screen and more. The Middleman premieres Monday June 16th on ABC Family.
  • Shenae Grimes & Rob Estes – The TV Adicct posted video of the stars of the upcoming 90210 reboot on The CW talking about the show at the Canadian broadcaster Global TV Upfronts. Video runs almost three minutes.
  • Hell’s Kitchen Reject Matt – An interview with the latest to be sent packing from Hell’s Kitchen was posted of at TV Filter. Hell’s Kitchen plays Tuesdays on FOX.
  • Bill Lawrence – The Scrubs creator talked with Kristin over at E! Online about the upcoming season and if it will be the last.
  • Mad Men Cast & Creator – Kristin over at E! Online talked to the show’s cast and creator at and event and lets you in on what she was able to find out. Mad Men returns July 27th on AMC.
  • Matt Nixx – He is the showrunner behind USA’s Burn Notice. Rae over at RTVW got a chance to be part of a dinner with him and talk about the show. She conveys a few of the tidbits she picked up over the course of the night, like he describes the show as “serial but missable” and what the people of Miami seem to think about all the explosions they setoff while filming. Burn Notice returns Thursday July 10th.
  • Ridley Scott – The director talked with Scott Essman of Eclipse Magazine about why his production company decided to remake The Andromeda Strain and his future projects.
  • Roy Thinnes – He played David Tennant in the 1967 series The Invaders that ran for two seasons on ABC. Sheldon Wiebe over at Eclipse Magazine talked with him about the show, how well it has held up and his time on The X-Files.
  • Michael Urie – The Ugly Betty star was on The Paul O’Grady Show in the UK and Ugly Betty News posted the YouTube videos of it. The two parts run about 13 minutes.
  • Rainn WilsonThe Office star answered five questions from Kristin over at E! Online.
