The Mole (ABC): New. This or the last half hour of Nashville Star and 30 minutes of Dateline NBC on NBC is still kind of a toss-up for me, as to what is the second best item to watch in this hour of primetime.
The Middleman (ABC Family): Series Premiere. Based on a comic series. A young woman ends up as the sidekick of the Middleman because of a chance encounter. They keep us safe from otherwordly forces that seek to harm us. They stand between them and us and we don’t even know either exist. Sounds a lot like Men in Black. The “Pilot” episode is available as a free download at iTunes. Plays twice, again later and then again Sunday night and next Monday before the next new episode.
Dirty Jobs (Discovery Channel): New. Jobs that clean things up are shown. Plays again later.
Weeds (Showtime): Season Premiere. Suburbia is being left behind for a place near the beach and border. Read our review.
Secret Diary of a Call Girl (Showtime): Series Premiere. A new series based on the life of a London call girl and the duel life that she leads. Read our review. Showtime has the first two episodes available via streaming video at their website.
