Prime Picks

NBA Finals (ABC): Game 6. The Los Angeles Lakers squeaked one out and sent the series back to Boston. If the Lakers don’t figure out a way to play like they have in the first quarter of the last two games for more than just the first quarter of the game, then Boston will soon be hoisting the championship trophy. The game starts around 9:00 p.m. ET with a 30-minute pre-game show. A special Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night will air either before or after the game depending on your time zone. Like here in Seattle, Jimmy will be on after the game.

Solid Selection

AFI’s 10 Top 10 (CBS): New Special. AFI counts down the Top 10 movies in 10 classic genres of American film, like animated, epics, sci-fi, mysteries, Westerns and more. Runs three hours.

Cable Choices

Good Eats (Food Network): Repeats. Alton flounders about and then cooks some fish. Both episodes play again later.

Big Break Ka’anapali (Golf Channel): New. It turns out there are “20,000 Ways to Win,” as one of the competitors is being targeted for elimination. Plays again later.

The Office (TBS): Repeats. Everyone is gambling in “Casino Night” and then Michael unintentionally ends up on a “Gay Witch Hunt.”

Other Options

  • Bones (TNT): Repeats. Two episodes from season one, “The Man With the Bone” and then “The Skull in the Desert,” replay, although they originally played in the other order.

Sports Notes

  • ABC has Game 6 of the NBA Finals, see Prime Picks above for more info.

Late Night
