What Are the Rules?
- Limit one entry per person. Subsequent entries will be disqualified. Must be 18 and a legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Must include a valid email address, which we will only use to contact you, if your comment is selected as the winner. Odds of winning depend on number of legitimate entries. The use of automated devices to enter the giveaway is prohibited. There is no responsibility assumed by TVaholic for lost or late entries, or any computer, online telephone, or technical malfunctions that may occur.
- Each comment is numbered and time stamped. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT, Monday, June 30th, 2008. Three numbers will be drawn at random using the random integer generator at Random.org and the corresponding comments will be selected as the winners.

I LOVED the first 2 seasons of Weeds….then I canceled my Premium channels…and am now regretting it.
quirky, female-driven show.. this sounds like a show for me. i prefer to buy tv shows per season or an entire set. i enjoy them more that way. been meaning to pick this one up for a while now.

Ooooh! I actually JUST started watching Weeds. I had heard so many great things about it that I thought I’d catch the Season 4 premiere and I loved it. So I grabbed my husband and his laptop and we signed up for Netflix and started Season 1 two nights ago. We have seen the first 5 episodes and plan on watching as many of them on there for our 2 week trial cause we are poor. lol Then we’ll go rent the rest from Blockbuster. Thank goodness I have a bunch of space on my DVR and can save up the new season 4 eps til we are ready! Would love to get Season 3!
Have never seen it–do not get Showtime. Would be fun to see Mary-Kate Olsen in a more grown up rolr.

I think it’s interesting that this really be taking place in suburbia today.
I have just begun watching the show and I have to say that I find it intriguing. For someone who has never “partaken thereof” I find it to be profoundly eye opening and yet terribly funny. I tend to love black comedy and so this is definitely the best example of narcisim on tv I have had the pleasure of viewing in a long time!
I’ve only seen parts of the first season so far, but I love the premise.
I have missed Weeeds since our cable got cut out so that we can save money on gas so we only watch DVD’s! Need to watch!
I first caught this show on Netflix. The first two seasons are available online on Netflix for instant viewing. I was hooked! I am only 5 shows into the first season, but I love it! I can only assume it gets better, and look forward to each episode!
I thought the premier was a tad boring, but I know this was due to a lot of backstory/setting up the whole season. I find one of the best things about Weeds is the acting ensemble, like the smaller roles, Kevin Nealon, etc. Those actors make it so enjoyable to watch!
My mom has gotten my hooked on the show. We don’t have showtime so we have to wait on the DVD’s to come out. I would love to win this but I’m mom would be excited to have the DVD’s too.
I found it a little strange at first to have a comedy about growing weed but after I watched it I thought this dark comedy was funny in a dark way. I like the lady of the house being the canibus cultivator.
I’ve never seen Weeds, never even heard of it. But since I’ve recently retired and have a lot of time on my hands I thought it might be good to find out what I’ve been missing.

I had never seen the show before…but I borrowed my brothers season 2 DVD setand I have to say I am now addicted to the show. I would love to win season 3 to catch me up. The Season 4 opener was awesome!

I’m anti-drugs…but for some reason I LOVE Weeds. It toatlly cracks me up and makes me think about things in a different way. I love how It depicts a “normal” family…with a mostly “normal” every-day existence (that way we can relate)…but they add a CRAZY drug-related wild twist to things that makes the show so funny and unique. I’m “hooked” (pun inteneded!!!)> :)
I love the fact that you shouldn’t be cheering for Nancy yet you can’t help it! And it always seems as thought there are great twists!
I really have wanted to watch this , heard it was funny and really good, but we do not get the premium channels so I need to win or buy the dvds

rented first two seasons on netflix! im addicted. i dvr it all the time for lazy rainy days! its pure entertainment. my friends and i sometimes have weeds parties. and no it is not a gardening event haha.
I was hesitant at first to watch it, since it’s about a mother who deals drugs. However, that part of the plot is only minor compared to the hilarious escapes of all the wonderfuly developed characters.
Weeds is one of the best shows on TV. Mary Louise Parker is fabulous. Love it!

When I started watching the first season, I couldn’t believe the idea. But as I continued tuning in, I was hooked. Just the twists and turns kept this show appealing to me. I just can’t believe how a normal housewife (very unlikely in today’s world) would be able to support her family in this manner. But wouldn’t you, do about anything to make sure your family survives?
I have not seen any episodes but have heard from people and the media that it is a must see series.

I have watched the 1st & 2nd season and I am hooked! It is such a great show that me and my friends have Weeds parties just to catch up on the old episodes! I need this season to complete my collection!!!!
I love the fact that people in the show often do the opposite of what you think someone in their day to day living situation would do. Makes for very interesting TV.

I had to give up Showtime and never saw season three, so winning it would be wonderful. I like how the kids really get messed up, unlike so many shows where the kids are “resilient”. So much more realistic!

what i love most is how at the end of the day this white little suburban widow is one step ahead of everyone…kinda…. and i love/hate celia…her character is very entertaining to watch

i absolutely loooooove this show! my friend has season 2 and i watched the whole dvd in one night, i was hooked! then he bought season 3 and i watched that dvd all in one night, hahah! so i want it all for myself! i just finished watching season 1, he doesn’t have that dvd.
i love how the plot turns are so unexpected, and how they just surprise you with something, and you never saw it coming. i love all the great characters and how they all have they’re own plot lines.
I’ve seen bits and parts of some episodes but dont remember much.. But i’ve heard from lots of people that it is VERY fun to watch and addicting too! Maybe i’ll even end up buying the dvds!
I’m just catching the Weeds train after seeing the last couple of episodes last year. I love the dry humor and the easy interaction amongst the characters. I’ve since rented season 1 and want to get caught up before we get to deep into this season.
